Dear Ajay, the baseline of any acne treatment regimen includes usage of a good cleanser and a moisturizer-suitable for oily/acne prone skin and containing non-comedogenic ingredients. It's a myth that moisturizer is not required for oily, acne prone skin.In reality, there is impaired epidermal barrier function in acne vulgaris. The usage of a moisturizer preferably in gel or lotion form depending on the condition of skin at that particular time is usually advisable. As mentioned by you, your main concerns are small pimples most likely to be comedones-closed and open, pigmentation and scars. You can use a salicylic acid containing facewash like AHAglow S or D'Acne facewash. After washing and cleansing your face twice a day with either of these, you can use gel moisturizer like Sebamed Clear face care gel.If your skin gets bit dry after usage of salicylic acid containing face washes, use moisturizers in lotion form like Neutrogena oil free moisturizer.Topical treatment includes-topical retinoids like adapalene or tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide or combination of both. You can use gels containing adapalene like deriva ms gel at night or Supatret gel which contains tretinoin though with tretinoin, there are more chances of irritation.Other treatment modalities include-comedone extraction, microdermabrasion, chemical peels containing glycolic acid or salicylic acid which can act both for your pigmentation, acne and to a certain extent post acne scars. For pigmentation, regular use of a non comedogenic gel sunscreen is a must.Apply the sunscreen about 20 minutes before going out and reapply every 3 hours.Use kojivit gel at night,it will gradually lead to lightening of the pigment. As for acne scars, treatment depends on type of scars. For depressed or atrophic scars, treatment options range from subcision, dermaroller, chemical peels,TCA Cross, ablative lasers like Er:YAG Laser, fractional CO2 laser, microneedling radiofrequency devices etc. These will lead to gradual improvement in scars with every session.
Take care
