PAST HISTORY : I have never had anything like this. I am not on any medical drugs. My heart is OK. I know how to keep my blood pressure in reasonable range. I have been under a lot of stress.
Patient asked followup Question: 12 years ago
The rash is not itchy, but no matter what I do it does not go away. Anti fungal products do nothing. Garlic does nothing. It has been there for four months. It is maybe very slowly getting larger.

Hi,
The rash you described to me usually on the first instance may sound to be a fungal rash or may be a viral rash as you have described it to be non itchy. So I would personally recommend you to wear loose and comfortable clothes keep the area dry and clean so that any further infection can be prevented.
I also wanted to know about following things -
1. Your diabetic status
2. Weight & Height for Obesity
The reason of asking these questions is that that drugs are very slow acting in a diabetic patient, so if any such problem is accompanied, you will also have to treat that in conjunction so that anti-fungal helps you. Keep your self well hydrated.
I think these measures should help you and if they don't help consider showing to a dermatologist.
Feel free to ask any other question.

I am not diabetic. I am 5 feet 5 1/2 inches. I am not sure of my weight but I am only three or four pounds over the average for my height and I am definitely not fat. Can you recomend a natural anti fungal? I simply don't have the money for a dermatologist. I am on social security as income and am not eligible for full medicare. I am living in USA. Could this condition be dangerous?

Hello,
You have written that you are not diabetic. For natural protection from fungal infection and also to help healing , one should protect the affected parts from accumulation of humidity. Exposure to fresh air freely and keeping it reasonably dry helps healing. Exposure to hot climate should be avoided. Over the counter Fluconazole lotion is a simple remedy to help by local application.
This is not a dangerous illness or condition.
