My 6 years old daughter has developed vomiting since last night . She had taken home made food only. She is not able to eat anything and vomiting out even water.There is no loose motions or fever.Otherwise she is active.There is similar history one month back. Kindly help.

Hi there, Thanks for your request. Your daughter seems to have gastritis.First give her anti-emetic like domperidone and for half an hour and then give some oral fluids. If she accepts then give her food. If she vomits out this tablet then take her to the nearest health facility for injectable anti-emetic treatment. continues vomiting from 1st month, now itself 9th month. still now vomiting are not stopped. she is getting vomiting at least daily once. please give me any advice

Hi!! vomiiting can occur in pregnancy more so in the 1st three months and then usually subsides.Some patients continue to have vomitting throughout pregnancy,this is not something extraordinary. Excessive vomitting can happen due to heartburn esp if the spacing between meals is not adequate and in case one has a sedentary lifestyle and lies down immediately after meals or takes a very spicy or fatty diet. My daughter got 104F fever yesterday. I gave crocin suspension but within 3-4 hours the fever is coming back to 101-102F. Please advise. I checked with doctor and he said viral infection.

Hi, Usually only paracetamol is given for viral and supportive treatment is given in addition such as proper diet and plenty of water for the child and anti-cough(depending whether the child has sputum or not)and something for nose as well,whether child has runny nose or not. please let me know side effect of musli power and dosage for man above 55 years. Is it sufficient if it is taken whenever required or required to be taken continuously for good result.

Musli power is a herbal product,as such i have never prescribed it.
