i have puss in my gums dr prescribed some antibiotic ,i still have severe pain after taking the antibiotics for three days. its hifenac-d. my question is can i also take dolo 650 after 4 hrs if i still have the pain?

The type of treatment you have for toothache /sensitivity/swelling will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem.

• Medications for toothache: Advise C. Amox 500mg 1-1-1, thrice, T. Metrogyl 400mg 1-1-1, thrice, T. Imol 1-1-1, thrice (contraindicated in conditions with gastric ulcer, asthma, wheezing, and allergy), and C. Becosules 1-0-0 once, all for 3 days only.
