Hi,
Alcohol is an irritant and can cause diarrhoea in many people, specially in people who are a little sensitive with their bowels.
Black stools are commonly due to to blood from gastrointestinal tract
1) Peptic ulcer
2) Gastritis
3) Varices
4) Crohns disease
5) Ulcerative disease
However for the above first three disease alcohol can be a common cause. It is commonly seen that black stools might occur after heavy alcohol intake but yes it is a warning sign that if you have it commonly(black stools) then you will have to get yourself checked for your liver.
Try to avoid alcohol for a few days and notice your stools and have plenty of water. You might also try pantoprazole if you have gastritis commonly.
