PILES OR HEMORRHOIDS
CAUSES OF PILES
1. Improper eating habits,Junk food.
2. Straining to empty your bowels, for example if you have constipation.
3. Indigestion & Prolonged Constipation.
4. Ageing – as you get older you may be more likely to get piles because your anal canal weakens.
5. Diarrhoea lasting a long time.
6. Long-term coughing.
7. Having a family history of piles.
8. Excessive Oily, Spicy, fatty & Non-Veg food.
9. Lack Of High Fiber Diet.
10. Long sitting working hours.
11. Prolong use of Antibiotics & Allopathic drugs.
12 Pregnancy & Overweight.
13. Excessive Heavy weight lifting .
TYPES
Depending on the origin & morphology Piles or Hemorrhoids are broadly classified as :-
1. Internal Piles (Hemorrhoids): Occurs in Anal Canal & Rectum.
2. External Piles (Hemorrhoids): Outside Anal Canal near anal opening.
Internal Piles are further classified as :-
1.Grade-I :- Hemorrhoids (Piles) are still in the interior anal canal & there is no protrusion or prolapsed. However there is minor itching or pain.

2. Grade-II :- Hemorrhoids (Piles) are similar to grade-I however bleeding is also observed at this stage. Additionally some small protrusion will come outside during bowels & reverts back to its original position.

3. Grade-III :- When hemorrhoids reaches at stage-III, they have all the symptoms of earlier stages only the prolapsed or protrusion will not return to its original position on its own & must be manipulated back into the anal canal manually.

4. Grade-IV :- This is a final stage and haves all symptoms of earlier stage except haemorrhoids can no longer be manipulated back into place in the rectum.
SYMPTOMPS OF PILES :-
1. Constipation
2.Bleeding along with bowel movement – you may see blood on toilet paper or on your faeces.
3.A lump in or around your anus.
4.A feeling that your bowels haven’t emptied completely.
5.Watery discharge or mucous from anus, or leaking faeces.
6.Itchy or sore skin around your anus.
7.Pain and discomfort during or after a bowel movement.
PREVENTION OF PILES
1. Eat plenty of fibre-rich foods such as fruit, vegetables, wholegrain cereal, wholegrain rice and pasta, nuts, beans and pulses. Aim to eat 20 to 30g of fibre a day. As a guide, half a cup of bran cereal contains nearly 10g of fibre and a medium-sized apple has about 3.5g.
2.Drink plenty of fluids & have lite but regular exercise.
3.Avoid caffeinated drinks & Alcohol.
4.Avoid sitting for long time in same place.
5.Don’t fight the urge, when you have to go, go. This is one of the simplest ways to prevent Piles. “Ignoring Nature's Call has its own risks, and hemorrhoids are one of them”.
6.Drink 4 liters of water every day.

Hi, I am really stressed and don't want to self diagnos and go crazy, but I have had this (pimple, ulcer, follicule infection or chancre on the side of the shaft of my penis. I don't know which one it is. I don't have medical but I am signing up on Tuesday for state medical..... The story is it appear maybe a week after a day and a half masterbation marathon I am embarrassed to say I had. It started as just a burning sensation on the side like I ripped the skin which I have done before. So I just didnt touch it. That was on a Sunday then Monday Xmas I tried to have sex with my lady and I couldn't cause of the pain and burning sensation on the skin. We started and stopped. 3 days after that in the same burning area 1 pimple formed with maybe 2 smaller ones. Very small ones... I I tried to masterbate again and it seemed as if it irritated the area and another one grew. They got to an ok size and where kind of painful. Then they grew and seemed to bust and started to go down. They look some like a chancre or a lesion when it was going down. They itch a little bit I guess that's from healing but I am freaked out. I had unprotected sex with another woman maybe a month before the night I began the marathon. I have pics please help.

Hello, I began my period on Monday and I feel as though i have an abrasion on the right side of my vaginal opening. Yesterday, removing a tampon was uncomfortable, but today the pain was nearly unbearable. I also began experiencing UTI symptoms yesterday (urge to pee, pain in urethra and bladder at the end of urine stream). I was recently on antibiotics for a sinus infection and took my last pill on Monday. I've also been tested for STDs within the last year and have had the same sex partner. My hubby and I did have rough sex on Sunday but I felt fine and I urinated as normal. Could the antibiotics have given me a uti? What do you think about the scratched feeling? I'm getting worried.

  Doctor's Answer

HI, Abrasion,or may be a scratchy feeling that you are having can have many causes out of which 1)Having rough sex is amongst the common causes 2)If you had sex before actually your vagina was wet(then causing an injury is relatively easy),you might not have been aroused properly 3)UTI itself is among the common causes giving you such a feel. I don't think that you may have had UTI because of any antibiotic, but if you have too less water during antibiotic course and antibiotic taken is a he ...

A little over 3 weeks ago I went to the Dr for what he said was a really bad sinus infection. I was prescribed a 10 day course of antibiotics & I felt better. Well the last week Ive had a sore throat on the left side, an ear ache on the same side, a chesty cough I never got rid of and now bad breath. There are red streaks on the back of my throat which I assume are just from the stress of constantly coughing. I called the dr. & told him my symptoms and he seemed unalarmed and prescribed me another 10 day course of amoxicillian. My only concern is that its not a sinus infection because my sinuses aren't bothering me this time around - Im not even congested. Any ideas what it could be? Should I call the DR and make him actually see me or will the amox work? **Please no smart-alec comments about dental hygiene -- I brush 3 times a day & floss, so its not because i am not brushing**

I wonder if you could give direction I dont know whether to go to the doctor or the dentist? I broke a crown about 3mths ago, whicht he dentist sorted out for me but about a mth later I developed a cold and my crown became so sensitive I couldnt close my mouth it felt like it had a pulse and the bone was rejecting the post. after googling I realised it could very well be a sinus infection and got a 10 day course of anitbiotics which helped immensley, but the gum where it connects to the cheek pulses and if I run my finger over the spot I feel as though I am getting an electric shock. It was fine if i didnt touch it but over the last few days the pain has come back and a lump is developing and spreading. the pain is in my cheek bone and around my eye socket, I had a root canal on this tooth over 10 years ago with no problems and the tooth has no odour or any leakage around it

  Doctor's Answer

Hello, Your problem seems to be primarily dental. I wolud recommend you to visit the dental proffesional an make an x ray.. From wat history you hav provided it seems the nerve has been damaged and there is infection, pus, developed below the tooth.. hence the wierd senstion... sinus infection may or may not be related to the tooth.. sp kindly visit the dr and take his opinion. If your tooth is fine, post opinion from dr, u may need to visit an ENT... ...
