PAST HISTORY : Had a toothache. Took amoxil. Thought I had a yeast infection, it was a uti (e coli). Took Cipro didn't really go way. Took Macrobid thought it was gone. A week later it is back. Culture is clear except high level of nitrites. I have trigeminal neuralgia and the tooth is only sore occasionally.

No. Nitrites are not due to tooth infection, They are due to Urinary Tract Infection or might be sometimes due to a condition called Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
