my wife is suffering from uterine fibroid with prominent left falopian tube as found in sonography done recently.the report is as follows : uterus appears mildly bulky and appx measures 8.4 x 5.2 x 4.4 cms. .it appears slightly globular in shape. it shows inhomogeneous parenchymal echotexture. there is relatively well defined iso-hypoechoic intramural fibroid of appx size 3.7 x3.5 x 2.7 cms seen in posterior myometrium.no obvious degenerating areas or vascularity noted. this lesion is in close proximity to the endometrial stripe.it appears to cause displacement and mild distorsion of the adjacent endometrial stripe.endometrial thickness is appx 6mm .the left falopian tube appears prominent (10-11mm). no other obvious focal lesion seen in the uterus. So, pl. suggest probable treatments.How can she get rid of uterine fibroids?

Hi!! In your case the treatment for the fibroid is only surgical,there is no medicine or diet which can help.Medication which if used causes decrease in the size of the fibroid and they regrow back when the medication is stopped. I am 25 years old. Male. 5'10 160lbs. I have been active most of my life. I recently ran a tough mudder (12 mile obstacle course). However, I have always dealt with anxiety and worry about my health. My pulse is extremely strong. I can see my pulse in my neck, stomach, and wrist at all times. Even when I am not anxious. I have had many echochardiograms, EKG's, I've had an MRI of my heart and a nuclear stress test. All came back normal despite the fact that I have a small case of mitral valve prolapse. I was cleared to play sports and exercise. Lately I have had symptoms of pain I can only describe as someone squeezing my neck. It is most uncomfortable at the base of my neck towards my chest. I have also had headaches, a slight cough, difficulty concentrating and fatigue. It seems like the pulse in my neck is more visible than it has been. Is this all in my head?

my wife had discharges from her breast in 2012 oct, a doctor prescribed parlodel for months, but weshe has not been able to conceive. Another doctor treated both of us ofstaph disease that was isolated after CST, weshe was placed on clomid but no conceptionn s. ; her prolactin levels and other hormone test are normal now. Transvaginal scan was done this Jan says bilateral polycystic ovarieses(15 by 16mm periovulatory follicle noted onLt ovary) , b,both ovaries appears to be fixed and adhered t the uterine wall. Dear doctor please tell me about this report Single intrauterine gestational sac is seen. Foetal node is not yet evident. Thick decidua is seen. Mean gestational sac diameter 7mmm. No uterine space is occupying lesson is seen. Internal OS is closed. Both the ovaries are enlarged and show coarse echo texture. Multiple small cysts are seen at their periphery. Am having uterine myomas and adenomyosis and possible uterine fibroids. Recently treated with mirena iud to prevent the myoma from growing, control the bleeding and as hormonal therapy. The pain is killing me for 2 weeks now. Dependent with voltfast which is not good for the kidney. Now the only option doctor is advicing me is to undergo hysterectomy.
