followed with 102 degree temperature.we went to hospital and he prescribed be antibiotic for 3 days.After that also the body temperature showd between 100 and 101.The did alla the checkups and all are negative.They already started for pantiac 40 mg and formic 1.5 injections for 2 days.after that i was discharged and changed the antibiotic to ciplox 500 mg for 5 days.I never knew that a dental abcess without any pain may cause fever.But yesterday when i wnt through tha net,i found that it is followed by fever.I'm very much feared to go to a dentist..Please help me sir.

1. My grand daughter 2 yrs of age having severe lose motion or diarrhea for the last 4 days and passing watery yellowish stool every 5 to 10 minutes. Had slight temperature max 101.5 Deg F, for the first two days. Now there is no temperature. 2. She is being hydrated and has been passing urine occasionally. She is 11kg by weight. 3. Urine and stool tests have been carried out. There is no infection. 4. Urine : Albumin- Trace, Ketone Bodies-Present +, Red Bllod Cells-Absent, Puss Cell-4-5/HPF, Epithelial Cells-2-3/HPF 5. Stool: reducing substances- Present +, Puss cells â€“ 2-3/HPF, Epithelial cells-Occasional. (Oval Cysts not seen) 6. Local doctor says she will be all right but her watery stool continues unabated and we are extremely worried. She is losing her body weight and becoming cranky. Her skin around anus has become swollen & reddish. 7. She has been put on liquid O2 Suspension from today (Ofloxacin and Orindazole) 8. Please let us know: a. How can we stop the lose motion of such high frequency. b. Is O2 has some side effect? Do you suggest any other medicine c. Is it normal that such watery stool can continue for such log time? d. Please advice what should be done now.

Thanks for your query Since your granddaughter is having such high frequency of loose motions,she may become dehydrated anytime,so please take her to a health facility and get her examined.She might need admission and fluid drip.Till the time being please give her ORS solutions to drink 100 ml after each loose stool.She is having reducing substances in her stools which suggest she is having osmotic diarrhoea most likely due to lactose intolerance so avoid milk in her diet till she recovers.Stoo ...

Hi my daughter who is 7 has blisters in her mouth and on her tongue on of the ones on her tongue has gone red and flat whilst the rest of her tongue has I white coating. Also her gums around her teeth look slightly swollen an bleed if pressed gently or when brushed . I took her to doctors yesterday an was told they olsers and to use bonjella. Over the weekend she was quiet an had a slight temperature but complained of being cold she has little apatite as it hurts is it possible she has scarlet fever an not mouth olsers. Hi. My four year old son has had a high temperature (up to 39.9) since yesterday afternoon. I have been treating him with paracetamol and ibuprofen (alternately) in order to bring him temp down. He has been fine in himself. He has a red inflamed throat but not complaining of pain. He also has now developed a rash (very small red raised spots on his torso (front and back). He does not seem bothered by it. I feel he is okay, obviously some virus or other, but due to the rash I am asking now if you think he should see a doctor. He is singing away in the bath right now. Hi doctors. I have been having servere waist pain in the lower part of my abdomen for more than 2 years now. I have been on numerous antibiotics and most recently dazel kit combination and no tangible improvement. I'm a male 32 years. I have gone for scans and diagnosis but nothing was found. I have alos gone for STD tests and still nothing. Pls can you advise for a treatment and specific tests I can look out for?
