hi i had an intercourse and missed to use a contraceptive. am scared of being pregnant since it is close to ovulation. I went to the pharmist asking for ipill but he gave me mifeprin. Wil this help to avoid my pregnancy

You can take ipill ,but the effectiveness will be lower(after 24 hrs).Also,mifeprin will not have any effects on preventing pregnancy or any effects on you. ...

Hi I just started taking an oral contraceptive and my gums have started to bleed and are very tender. I brush my teeth twice a day and regularly go to the dentist. This is the first problem I have had with my teeth or gums. IS it possible the two are related?

Hi, main cause for the bleeding & tender gums is Bacterial Deposits on the tooth surface i.e. Plaque. Oral contraceptives can alter the response of Gums to the Plaque. Hi, There are no harms to take i-pill(no reaction),but the t.b medicines reduces the efficacy of emergency contraceptive and the dose of i-pill might be needed to be repeated depending on how patient profile. Repeat dose of i-pill might be recommended,but only after prescription,as repeat dose may also cause excessive bleeding so don't prescribe to self. Hello Doctor, i'm suffering from halitosis problem and i had consulted a lot of dentist but nothing helped much. On searching on internet about my tongue problem of whitening and cracks on my tongue i found out that i might be suffering from oral thrush problem so i ordered Health Aid Acidophilus and I've started consuming from yesterday i.e 6/8/2013. My question is will it help solve my oral thrush problem and how much time it will take to bring my problem under control?

you need to brush your teeth twice daily and maintain very good oral hygiene. plus definitely quit smoking. It is also advisable to take antifungal tablets for around a month. nystatin is a good drug for oral thrush. Though the oral thrush will drastically reduce in a week. you need to continue the medication for a month. Hello, My 1& half month old daughter is hving loose motions since 1 month almost...she also developed rashes(as per doctr advise , I used fuscidin-H along wth clotrimazole dusting powder n nutrolin -b syrup )but after five days she is again bk on th track of loose motions n rashes ... So I hv started again using the same.. Wt should I do? Can I use nutrolin -b n fuscidin -h for long time...or her loose motions will get well soon .. As she is suffering from cough n congestion as well(giving t-iminic oral drops).is this safe giving her this oral drops n till how long cn I use thus?

A normal 1 and half month old baby can pass 8 to 10 times semi loose motion with some water and some stool particles. and most of the time soon after feeds. they are called Gastro colic reflux.
