Sir i am suffering from knee sweeling in my rt knee for 6 month,two times i hv removed water(aspiration) from it bt never found relief.some time it decrease and some time increase.all tests x rays,crp,esr are normal not yet i found any relief.4 years ago same problem were in my lft knee and dr. Removed 2 pieces(tissue) from lft knee which were found normal(non specific),till one month after surgery i couldn't bent knee even a little bit,i took physiotherapy by wax and till 9 months i could bent it onle 80% after 1.5 or 2 year i could bent it properly 100 bt with pain,still there is pain when i bent it proper,and also swelling in rt knee.Dr.'s Of hospital in which i get surgery 4 yrs ago said that same surgery will pass in rt knee,bt i am afraid because still there is pain in my lft knee,if i pass again surgery in rt knee i will face same problem of pain in my rt knee,please advice me sir if there another way to get treated without surgery like med. Or i should get treated by surgery,i am just 23 yr old boy,still there is whole life for me to live please help me.

Doctor my mother aged 63yrs have DVT. When scanned the report says following; 1- grey scale imaging shows enlarge diameter of Common Femoral Vein (CFV) & Superficial Fomoral Vein (SFV). 2- Color Doppler reveals non-fillilng of external lilac vein on the left side. Partial filling of colour is seen in the left CFV & SFV. The Popliteal vein does not show any colour filling. The Peroneal and Posterior Tibial veins are filling with the colour. Anterior tibial vein could not be identified on colour Doppler. 3- Doppler imaging shows mid respiratory plasticity in CFV. There is very poor Response to distal augmentation in the CFV. 4- Great Saphenous vein is Patent. IMPRESSION- Deep vein thrombosis in lower limb involving External lliac vein, CFV,SFV & Popliteal vein, and possibly Anterior Tibial Veins. There is partial recanalisation of CFV & SFV. Posterior Tibial and Peroneal veins are patent. Suggested clinical correlation. Scan copy added to the medical record in the profole. that the above is the report of the radiologist now what medicine you prescribe ,how to take and when to review the report? .whether the same will be cure or the patient should be in medicine for life long,what are the immediate risk?

Hi, The foreskin on my penis is quite tight and I am not able to retract that easily. I am in a planning for marriage in next 2 - 3 months. So any resolution for the above problem? I have checked for options and came to know that Circumcision can be an option but worried about the process of removal of complete foreskin. I personally feel that foreskin is a very sensitive part of penis comprised of vital sex nerves, which helps to release sensual felling during masturbation/sexual activity but as the part of process to circumcision surgery, the foreskin need to be cut away so, worried that, without foreskin how I can get sexual sensation in future or during foreplay? Hi, Usually tight fore skin indicates that you either had phimosis or infection or scarring of your fore skin,which has to be removed now. I am not inclined for surgery of nail removal for it may have then no end. Pl. advice if there is any guaranteed solution other than surgery in time bound manner.

Sir, I had protected sex with a women / sex worker around 37 days back. She was having periods at that time, which I was not aware about. While removing the condom, a drop of blood came on my finger (My condom was not torn or damaged). After around 20 days, I developed a small genital wart on my pence. I immediately went to a dermatologist / STD specialist and told him the entire episode correctly. He told me that it was an HPV virus and the immune system of the body will eventually clear it with passage of time. For the wart I was advised to apply a topical cram "Imiquimod" every alternate day. I was also asked to get a VDRL test. My VDRL test came "Non Reactive" after 21 days of the exposure. However as I was extremely worried about the entire edisode, I decided to get the HIV test done today i.e. after 37 days of exposure. So I got an HIV 1/2 & P24 Combo Test done from . My report has come out to be "Index Value = 0.12" "Result= Non Reactive". My question is, in your opinion how reliable is this report?

Yes that's right - the antibodies can take up to 3 months, sometimes longer, to appear but the p24 antigen assay becomes positive much sooner after exposure. Still no test is fool proof and you should get retested in 8 weeks time - just the HIV 1/2 antibodies will be enough. This is just a precaution to be doubly sure - as it stands you are HIV negative based on your test results. And yes that is a standard laboratory. Regards. ...
