I'm 5ft 9.9" and weigh 76.7 kgs. I have been on Femilon since October 2013 as a form of birth control. I also have PCOS features. I read that the combined pill, like Femilon, is ineffective for women above 77kgs. Is this true? What birth control is preferable for overweight women like me, if not Femilon?

Your BMI IS average.so femilon is alright for you ..you can opt for IUD also ...

I am 48 years old and I have been suffering from syringomas or milias (I cannot identify which they are exactly) around the eyes for the last 15 years. I tried cauterisation around 10 years ago, but that was ineffective. My skin is quite fair and very sensitive to the sun and I also have a tendency towards keloid formation. (I had a mole on my neck removed and there is now a keloid on that area). Apart from this I also tend to worry a lot and often have insomnia.
