my wife is suffering from uterine fibroid with prominent left falopian tube as found in sonography done recently.the report is as follows : uterus appears mildly bulky and appx measures 8.4 x 5.2 x 4.4 cms. .it appears slightly globular in shape. it shows inhomogeneous parenchymal echotexture. there is relatively well defined iso-hypoechoic intramural fibroid of appx size 3.7 x3.5 x 2.7 cms seen in posterior myometrium.no obvious degenerating areas or vascularity noted. this lesion is in close proximity to the endometrial stripe.it appears to cause displacement and mild distorsion of the adjacent endometrial stripe.endometrial thickness is appx 6mm .the left falopian tube appears prominent (10-11mm). no other obvious focal lesion seen in the uterus. So, pl. suggest probable treatments.How can she get rid of uterine fibroids?

In your case the treatment for the fibroid is only surgical,there is no medicine or diet which can help.Medication which if used causes decrease in the size of the fibroid and they regrow back when the medication is stopped. Endometrial Hysteroscopy Patient Dear Sir, With reference to the above mentioned subject I want to inform you that I was undergone an operation of Endometrium Hysteroscopy on 24th July 2014 and admitted in Nursing Home for 2 days. My clinical symptoms were irregular bleeding, Clotted black blood, and severe pain in lower abdomen and back. My Endometrium Biopsy revealed: 1) Disordered proliferative endometrium and 2) No evidence of endometritis or granuloma or atypia; Type of sample - ENDOMETRIUM KOCH'S; Mycobacterium tuberculosis Complex - Not Detected Non tuberculous Mycobacteria - Detected After operation I experienced bleeding before Period, till August 11. After that, my heavy period persisted for another 10 days (upto 20th August). Presently I am under medication of Cabgolin 0.5 and already completed course of Krimson 35. On 6th of September my period was started suddenly and continued for 8 days upto 14th September. Today suddenly I felt severe pain in lower abdomen, back and legs with clotted smelly blood (black colour) again. I am worried. Please suggest what should I do.

Hi , last 4 months my period are regular. January i did my funicular study, at that time Rt ovary 1710mm from date of 8 to 14 and endometrial thickness 9.8. This months also did my funicular study 8th day of periods Rt ovary 177mm and 10th day 18.28.6mm and today my 12th day 18.48.6. Its ok for pregnancy or tell me correct size details and how can i know my ovulation.

Can small sized anteverted uterus WITH INTACT ENDOMETRIAL STRIPE. Is she capable of pregnancy? My daughter also have cysts on her 2 ovaries. What does this mean? Her hormones need to be checked through blood tests. Also pre pregnancy work up needs to be done. Hi I am 27 years old, got married in February 2015 last week and concieved in March but had abortion a month back i.e. on 10th May as baby's growth was stuck at 5 weeks though I was 10 weeks pregnant by then (Dr. never told the reason behind this problem). That was my first pregnancy, u/s post abortion revealed 1 cyst in right ovary and two cysts in left, largest one measured 22 x19 mm, a small fibroid in uterus measuring 17 x 14 mm, uterus was normal in size & echotexture with 6 mm endometrial thickness. Now u/s after first period dated 25/06/2015 says that cyst in right ovary measures 12 x 9.5 mm and left ovary has 3 cysts with thick internal echoes within, largest cyst measuring 30 x 25. Uterus size is 67 x 39 x 43 mm, combined endometrial thicness is 9.4mm and fibroid reduces to 15 x 12 mm. My Dr. is asking to undergo laproscopy as there is no other way out to cocieve. I want to enquire is it really so, can I really not get pregnant without this surgery? Kindly help, Thanks in Advance!!!

Dear Maâ€™am, My mother has been suffering bleeding of menopause & uterus is bulky. Uterus measures = 9.2 X 5.1 X 4.4 Cms. Endometrial thickness = 8.2 mm Cervix is normal Ovaries = Both ovaries are normal size. Then doctor diagnosis Histopathological 1) Endometrial sample D/C = Report is No evidence of endometritis granuloma, hyperplasia or neoplasia noted 2) Cervical punch biopsy = Report is no dysplasia or malignancy. 3) All blood test is normal Right now my mother as well. No bleeding no other problem. But Doctor advise to release her Uterus. So as of now what can I do for it. Please give me a good suggestion in this regards.

Since the endometrial sampling and cervical punch biopsy did not show any problem and bleeding has already stopped (without any medication), hysterectomy (removal of uterus) can be postponed, unless your gynecologist has other reason to pursue with the removal of the uterus. ...
