Ecosprin

My mom who is 70 has been on ecosprin and other blood thinners since october 2012 after suffering a stroke. She has got her tooth extracted 5 days back. She had stopped ecosprin for a couple of days befrore and after the extraction which she has now resumed. Her gum bleeds quite heavily atleast a couple of times in a day. It stops when we apply a tea leaves and ice pack. Can you please help me understand if this is ok, our stroke doctor is travelling and we are unable to reach him

Hi Prashant, Ecopsrin-75 is a salicylic acid salt but not the kind which helps with acne. Do not apply it on the skin. There are various 2% Salicylic acid face washes available in the market and you would be much better off trying one of those for your acne. I recently had a mild heart attack about 20 days back. i am 31 years. I am a male.i am married. i have been advised medicines like ecosprin 75mg, axcer 90mg, starpress 25mg, lipicure 40mg and pantocid 40mg. i want to know whether while taking these medicines, i and my wife can plan for a baby. Or do these medicines have side effects for the same. Do we need to wait for some time ?

Hello Doctor, I am having High BP (140-150 / 90-95) since last 2-3 years. My BP is mainly due to anxiety, stress and poor physical activities. My doctor suggested me cilacar 10 once a day (morning). Also I am taking Ecosprin AV 75 1 tab in night for left atrial enlargement found in ECG. Also taking QCar Tab Once a day. But I am not feeling comfortable due to high BP starting evening until I go into deep sleep. I feel some anxiety during evening and night. In day time I do not feel any issue. Kindly suggest some remedies alongwith or alternate to running medicines.

I am a doctor and 25 old...my BP was 160/90 mmhg in last year...at that time I was much anxious and I wad preparing my post graduation exam..my LDL was 122mg/dl rest other prolife were normal but my vitamin D and b12 was much low...lipoprotein a was slight elevated and s.homocystine was high...he started olmezest beta 20/25 and ecosprin av 150/20 and multivitamins for next 3 month...after 3 months I investigated all profile again and everything was normal..but pressure was 140/70mmhg...he told me to continue on olmezest beta 20/25 for 9-12 months... I am doing exercise regularly and my BP recording now around 130/80...but when I was on medication I was doing heavy exercise in gym with protein powder... You have to do some lifestyle changes such as waight loss, decrease salt intake, quit ciggarettes and alcohol (in case if you use), do physical exersices (but don't do heavy exercises, and avoid protein powder) keep healthy, enoug sleep, healthy diet and relieve stress in your life.
