hi my dad (68 years) has undergone a Turp sugery on 23rd Dec.He has been fitted with a cathether..He has been prescribed the following medicines (Pan 40 mg, levomac,augmentin 625 mg, chymoral fote)..He is taking it regularly...But the problem is he feels sleepy always and in a day sleeps for atleast 16 hrs (altough not so tight sleep)..am not sure of the reason why he feels so drowsy..can it be because of the tablets..also for info he was given spinal anaesthasia for the sugery..please advise..

Hi, I would recommend you to get a serum electrolyte done of your dad. If sodium levels comes out to be low then you have the cause and you will have to add a bit of salt in his diet and he will improve. I am a female aged 19 years old, from Australia and have had a pterygium in the inner corner of my right eye for as long as I can remember. It used to be very very painful but the pain went away and has been gone for the past 5 years. I'm very self conscious of it and am always worrying if anything has flared it up and made it bright red. I refuse to be in photo's, I can't wear eye makeup and I try my hardest to avoid any eye contact with others, which is making every day activities hard. I have people approach me asking if I'm ok because I look like I've been crying, or a few times when I showed up for work I was asked multiple times if I had been smoking marijuana! This is ruining my life and I want it gone. Its not severe, but for cosmetic reasons I want it removed. I've heard there is chance of it coming back worse than it was.. Will I ever be able to get rid of it? :(
