had thyroid in childhood......while dieting consultant put me on two tablets for weight loss,,,,,Ebexid and Carnisure 500......after the diet plan i have stopped taking both the tablets......by periods have been delayed for 16 days now....can these two tablets be the reason for the same???

Hi, The first thing we want to rule out is whether or not you are pregnant,although there are many causes to missing periods but since you have history of thyroid and you have ruled that you can't be pregnant so i would recomend you to get a throid test. When was the last time when you got your throid test and if you got them recently then please attach the reports. Hello Doctor This is shiwani here .My son is two years and 3 months old and he is suffering from constipation from last 7 months.I have consulted a good pediatrician (Fortis hospital) and he has suggested me that reduce direct milk and try to give milk product.and also given Egylex (as per requirement) and Ligniflux gel for apply on the local area.i did the same again two time i met him he said it will take time.but till date he is suffering from the same problem sometimes it is ok but most of the time i have to give Egylex to him.so please give me suggestion fot the next action.

If your puberphonia is persisting even at 20 years, you definitely need a treatment. You have to consult an ENT Specialist who treats Voice Disorders & most probably he will advice a course of Speech Therapy (at least for 6 weeks) initially. Hello Sir, My name is Sheetal Mansinghka, mother of Siddh Mansinghka (DOB 29/11/2008). We are currently in Dearborn, Detroit, United States. We got your reference from a friend over here who is from Delhi. We had a few questions regarding our child Siddh, let me start with giving a brief history about him. He was a pre-term baby born at the 8th month and his birth weight was 1.854 Kg. Since I have a medical condition I was on medication during the time he was born, I could not give him my milk and he was totally on top feed (formula milk) all throughout. Since he was 9 months which is when he had his first attack of â€œCroupâ€, he was after that for a year in and out of hospital for frequent â€œCroupâ€ attacks. The frequency would be around 4-5 times a year. When he was around 3 years he had pneumonia as well. we were living in dubai then. We moved to india when he was around 3.50 years old, he was on homeopathic treatment for around 1.50 years during which time he had a croup attack just once. Once the homeopathic treatment was stopped the croup reoccur, and he continues to have this croup attack even now. Since he is grown up now the severity of the attacks is low and it is not serious anymore as it used to be when he 1 to 4 years. He usually recovers with once a day dose of â€œprednisoloneâ€ for 3 days. When we were in india last year in Chennai the pediatrician suggested us to see an ENT which we showed him to and who diagnosed him with â€œLaryngomalaciaâ€. He said he will grow out of it around 8 years of age. The pediatrician at Fortis Chennai hospital asked us to basically give our child time and asked us to leave him alone and not go in for too many treatments for him. He said he will outgrow his issues with age. Another issue with him is that he is short in height and also weighs less. His height currently is 100 cm. and weight is 15.4 Kgs. The doctor over here i.e. Dr. Fratterrelli at Oakwood hospital took a wrist x-ray of his and he thinks that his age per the bones is around 3.50 years. He has referred us to an endocrinologist practicing at Beaumont hospital here. The endocrinologist got the blood tests done which we were told were normal and he has now scheduled us for a â€œGrowth stimulation testâ€ to be done for my son. We wanted to consult you and get your opinion on: a) Should we go for the growth hormone stimulation test? b) How can we help our son outgrow all these issues and help him grow fast? His growth is relatively slow. c) What should we do so that he lives a normal life in the future since he was not on breast feed as a child and which we are told can cause issues in the future? Sir, please let us know if itâ€™s possible to talk over the phone and can we reach out to you for help in future. We will be here for another 6 months and will be returning to India based in Chennai. Not being breastfed is not a cause of all these problems,so you can relax and not worry about that.as far as laryngoscopes malaria is concerned,he will definitely outgrow it.you can go for growth hormone stimulation test,provided it is done under strict supervision of a pediatrician and endocrinologist.im assuming that they have already done,thyroid growth hormone levels and vit d levels and they are normal ...

Hi, my 1 year and 2 month old daughter has been suffering from cold and cough for about 2 weeks. On consulting a pediatrician, he diagnosed that she was having trouble breathing and so might have asthma. He then prescribed Ambrodil-S syrup, Montek LC kid syrup and Alex junior. I am a little worried since we do not have any history of asthma in the whole of my family and in-law's family. She does catch cold often, and apparently thick mucus has spread to her lungs this time. So, if I give these medicines to her, are there chances that she might induce and incline to asthma in future? Is it possible to grow asthmatic without any history in family at this age? It is told that babies who breastfeed for a long time are less likely to grow asthmatic since feeding needs lots of energy in lungs. And she still breastfeeds post dinner at night. Hai dr. I have small query... my son s one n half year old. recently he faced problem to pass urine .later we took urine test n urine culture. It came ecoli as 10power 4 cols. So my pediatrician suggested to do circumcision as it's foreskin s too tight. One Month back we did circumcision to him. We gave antibiotic course for 15 days. Surgery place s completely healed. Sir My 4.6 years old son will have frequent cough and cold..since December it got worse..made visits to ENT specialist and even to pediatrician.. MD (Rainbow Hospitals..).even conducted IGE test and result was 45.56..we used Livolon plus and two courses of Antibiotics..within a month..even we are using Nazomac-M nasal spray and Montage tablets..the cough is high in the early morning when he gets up from bed and late evening when he goes for bed..and the cough is continuous for about half an hour..we indeed gone for x-ray and the adenoids development was not so big...other thing to mention is that he is active without any fever episodes ...kindly guide us to bring down is cough down..Thank you.

Your child is having allergic cough.
