I woke up this morning and one of my teeth that I had a root canal done on years ago felt 'exposed' in the back by where my tongue is. The gum has always been a little higher there after the accident but this is more than usual. I got a mirror and looked and it looks like there's a hole in my gum behind that tooth. The gums that are there are above the hole are swollen. It doesn't really hurt unless I push on the swollen gingiva with my tongue. What should I do?

Hi thanks for the query. From the history you had given your fracture must have healed and i advice you to continue physitherapy. No need to use Microcid 25mg as it is type of pain killer which is not necessary for you at present. Some doctors prefer to give you pain killers so that you dont experience pain during physiotherapy. ...

My 3yr old son was in a car accident later yesterday afternoon acted fine, no complaints so my husband refused ambulance.. Today he was playing with his sister then just randomly laid down complaining of "head hurt" around 1ish in the afternoon. Since then he has just wanted to be "lay down". Hasn't eaten lunch or dinner. Have kept a close eye on him, gave him a dose of ibuprofen. Around 4p ish he seemed warm and had 99.5 oral. I'm having a hard time whether I should take him to been seen (called Dr and no after hr # available) or if I'm just being over protective mom. He just hasn't been himself since his first complaint, but didn't know if fever possibly could be accident related or just a virus that might be correlation of timing. Thank you!

Well, the complaints may all be related to a viral infection, incidentally following the accident. But we cannot rule out a head injury as cause for his altered behaviour, so its best to take to the hospital ER and make sure he is neurologically stable. 5 years ago i was in a car accident that broke the beicept part of my arm and caused nerve damage so bad that i couldnt move my hand or wrist. I had to have a metal plate, pins and screws put in my arm to correct the break. After a few months i got the feeling back in my hand and wrist. Range of motion was fine. Here recently my arm has been "locking up" on me. When it does this i am not able to bend it all of the way, or straighten it all of the way. It feels really tight when i try to bend or straighten it and it doesnt hurt as long as i dont move it. it usually lasts a whole day, sometimes 2 days. What could this be? Arthritis? I havent had ANY problems with the arm since it healed except for the normal aches and pains.

I met with an accident, at that time surgery has done to my Quadriceps. a ROD has kept in my Quadriceps 4.5 Years Back. Now i am ok... few people are told "it's compulsory to remove that ROD from your Quadriceps by surgery. other wise it will gives problems to you in future"But i don't want to take surgery. can you please suggest me...? is it compulsory to remove that ROD from my Quadriceps...? As of today no ROD surgery for Muscle tear (quadriceps). It might be Femur bone fracture with IM IL nail done. This SS ROD should be removed by 2-3 yrs as difficult afterwards. Complications with ROD are more than surgery to remove it. My Opinion is to remove Femur Nail after fracture union. ...

Hello Doc, I am 36 yrs old, a year back I met with an accident on my bike and had a pain on my left knee, the pain was for couple of days. however since 2 monts I have this pain which will remain for few days and then it wont. There is nothing in X-ray report, but when I put some pressure on my knee it will start paining again.
