Received an IV just over 3weeks ago in my wrist (ouch). In the last 7days or so my entire arm is in pain, with my vein protruding along the forearm, making a slight bruise along the path of the vessel. I notified the doctors office asap, and was told by a nurse that I should use a warm compress and "move the vein around." Um no thank you- not comfortable with that. So here I am only a few days after being reassure that I am OK, but NOW both my hands/fingers are also very cold with my left foot + toes extremely numb and discolored. Clearly an issue, but it's 330am and I'm desperately seeking some piece of mind so I can finally sleep for a few hours. Definitely going to the clinic in the morning tho!!!! Please help
