Hi Abhi,
first of all quit the habit of using any tobacco and related products.
Based on your history , You might be having Oral Submucous Fibrosis.
Get it checked soon at a nearby dentist or an Oral Physician. Probably they might start with some injections and oral drugs.
Regards

you probably seem to be suffering from oral submucousfibrosis and that most commonly is caused by chewing paan ar tobacco or beetle nuts or pan masala, restricted mouth opening is caused due to thickning of fibrous bands of your cheek..There is one thing you should do,that is, quit the habit of using any tobacco and related products.

Dear Abhi, as rightly said, you seem to be suffering form OSMF or oral submucous fibrosis which occurs due to thickening of fibrous bands because of fibroblast damage due to your habit. The treatment depends upon the extent of the lesion. It can range from just medication to the surgical excision of these fibrous bands to aid in opening of mouth. Nowadays the surgery with lasers is an option which is bloodless with immediate opening seen clinically. Also with the surgery we will advise you some mouth opening excercises which you will have to do so that the reunion doesnot occur. We have treated many related cases... so you can surf at www.**url** as we have a case uploaded in the gallery.

Stops these habits, there was a warning given on the pouch of gutkha. This is an autoimmune disease & is difficult to treat it ,only remedy is do not indulge in these habits.

You seem to have Oral Submucous Fibrosis. This is a precancerous lesion. You need to see an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who could advise you on surgical options for treating this condition. You must also stop your gutka and tobacco chewing habit immediately.

Hi! The only blood test that can show whether you are pregnant or the previous abortion was an incomplete one is a serum beta hcg -this checks the hormone for pregnancy in the blood. If less than 5 ,then pregnancy is negative. A normal gynae check up can reveal past pregnancy only if earlier pregnancy led to an incomplete abortion which can be made out by an ultrasonogram of the pelvis or the serum beta hcg.Otherwise no doctor can make out whether you were pregnant in the past and have taken abor ...

I had a tooth surgically extracted Dec. 20th. It has felt like it has not healed properly. Five days ago I noticed the inside gum (under tongue) back from where the tooth was extracted had exposed bone and is extremely painful. I went back to the dentist today and she said it was not from the extraction, but was a mouth ulcer causing the bone to be exposed. She Rx'ed magic mouthwash and lortab 5mg. I have appt with oral surgeon on Thursday. I am concerned about she didn't give me antibiotics and the surgeon wont give any until consultation. Is this dangerous to have exposed bone?
