the black spots are surely of concern the size, colour changes have to be noted.if no changes and fades dont worry.avoid exposure to sun light . the spots could be due to bleeding and clotting in small blood vessels sometimes even bile pigments deposit and darken on exposure to sun

Hi lavina,
I need to know the age of your grand-daughter , well clusters of dark spots could be due to sun burn. or occasionally due to vasculitis(vascular infections). unlikely to be malignant melanoma-a variant of skin cancer.
