I had a extraction of mandibular impacted 3rd molar..there was swelling but it has subsided nw...but still there's solid typ mass remaining which is non tender..my friends too had extracted their wisdom tooth but none had such kind of solid mass...m afraid plz suggest me..my doc recommended me chymoral forte for 3days..

The excess mass will go away in a weeks time. Dont worry about it. Even after a week if the problem persists kindly meet a dentist and take a x-ray of that area and consult an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

Continue Chymoral forte that mass will subside within a week. If it dosen't you should visit your dentist.

Have gum pocket infection left lower side molar. Taking clyndamycin 300 mg. every eight hrs.. Tooth is healthy. Never had a filling. Have been on clyndamycin now for 10 days and it does not seem to be helping.

Hello i had my no 48 wisdom tooth removed on thursday morning and its been nearly 3 days now. What i wanted to know was i have noticed yesterday and today that the gum which had folded over the extraction site has receeded and left behind a thin white strand of tissue. is this a normal part of the healing process. I am not in any pain and have not smoked since the day of extraction (before). Also i know your advice will be to stop permanently but how long should i wait till i can smoke again
