My 6 years old daughter has developed vomiting since last night . She had taken home made food only. She is not able to eat anything and vomiting out even water.There is no loose motions or fever.Otherwise she is active.There is similar history one month back. Kindly help.

Hi there, Thanks for your request. Your daughter seems to have gastritis.First give her anti-emetic like domperidone and for half an hour and then give some oral fluids. If she accepts then give her food. If she vomits out this tablet then take her to the nearest health facility for injectable anti-emetic treatment. hi. i am 31 weeks pregnant. i had loose motions (diarrhoea), so i took one capsule of eldoper (loperamide hydrochloride 2mg) last night. i am really concerned if that effects foetus. Please answer. i would be grateful to you. thank you

Hi!! loperamide is a drug not recommended in pregnancy ( esp in early pregnancy),but if one dose is taken it does not justify termination of pregnancy or any additional monitoring of the fetus.So ,don't take any other doses of loperamide . Also loperamide should be avoided during breast feeding. ...

I have to start with my dental treatment .Doctor has told me to start Cefadur 500 twice daily. I get loose motions and acidity very fast with antibiotics.can I thus take Vizylac capsules with that.

SUFFERING FROM LOOSE MOTIONS SINCE LAST EVENING , CONTINUOUS PAIN IN ABDOMEN, MOTION GREEN COLOURED, PAIN MORE SEVERE WHEN FEEL MOTION. HAD UFLOX OX IN THE NIGHT. NOW AFTER 14 HRS LOOSE MOTION FREQUENCY REDUCED BUT STILL GREEN . NO PAIN SINCE NIGHT (3 HRS AFTER UFLOX OZ). ALSO HAD 99.4 FEVER IN THE NIGHT -HAD ONE CROCIN . WHAT SHOULD BE THE COURSE OF TREATMENT NOW. NO STALE OR OUTSIDE FOOD CONSUMED IN LAST THREE DAYS. DAILY GIMMING.

Hi, Take one more dose of uflox oz to complete your antibiotic dose If you don't have pain in abdomen then you don't need to take meftal spas,mild pain may be there for another day or two. Bifilac is same a micronutrient and is fine even if you take another dose or two.
