Dear Ranveer, as per your given history of gutkha consumption, kindly get your oral check up done as soon as possible from a good dental specialist who has a facility for doing biopsies to rule out any form of early changes , which can further lead to full blown cancer. Restricted mouth opening is an early sign of oral submucous fibrosis, a benign form which if not treated on time, can lead to cancer later on. So kindly do not ignore these early signs now and do the needful. Good luck !!

Hi Ranveer,
First of all you have to quit the habit of Gutkha chewing. As per your symptoms, you might be developing Oral Submucous Fibrosis, which is a Potentially malignant disorder i.e. it has chances of converting into Oral Cancer. Get your check up done as soon as possible and depending upon your clinical conditions, you might have to take oral injections or oral tablets or both.
Regards.

How frequently do you chew gutkha? Do you have any burning sensation on the cheeks/ inability to tolerate spicy food, if yes you are probably suffering from oral submucous fibrosis. Its better to first stop the habit of gutkha chewing ASAP also consulta Dentist/ Oral Physician who can diagnose & evaluate your condition and prescribe you medicines.

First of all stop pan eating Gutka etc, then see for about 15 days. Follow the excercise, a local dentist will guide you, if mouth opening improves then continue but never start again gutha

Hi Ranveer,
you have provided with the history of Gutkha Chewing since 2 years & Reduced mouth opening , these two things leads to the provisional diagnosis of Oral Submucos Fibrosis, a pre-malignant condition.
Advice- Immediate stoppage of Gutkha chewing habit & other related habits ( tobacco etc.) if any.
consult a Specialist at the earliest & get your Oral check up done.
Regards

Dear Ranveer,
As stated above by dental surgeons, you are probably suffering from Oral sub mucous fibrosis and if it is of speckled type than this pre cancerous state may transform into malignancy with complications. The transformation rate is any thing from 65-85%. Extensive studies at TIFR where I used to work has established the co relation between various tobacco habits and oral cancers. The first thing you should do is stop any tobacco and betel nuts chewing habits. There are various means to your aid, but the foremost is your will power. Then visit a dentist for further treatment.
