Hi..i am 8 days late for my periods. I am an pcos parient i am using normoz tablet regularly twice a day in this month..i am confused by my skipping periods bcz i am always have irregular period..is it i am pregnant or the tablet not works for me?

hello dr. I used condom each and every time while having sex but this month I missed my period. I am having a regular period with 28 days of cycle. but now it crossed 35 days. I'm in little doubt that am I pregnant? but how can I conceive when I'was using condom each and every time? I heard about mensurol tablet to continue period. I want to know that is it a abortion pills? would it be okay to take it to continue my period? can it harm to my further pregnancy? I'm not sure i'm pregnant or not if I'm pregnant then it is my first pregnancy. even I got married February 29 last year but I and my husband also not ready for child because still I'm studying and it will take 6 months to complete. I'm very confused what should I do..!! please help me.......

I just turned 57 yrs old. I had periods until Sept 2012 with spotting each month through Dec 2012 then nothing until October 2013, had a light period that lasted about a week, cramps, tender breasts etc. Had spotting this month Nov 2013 also with tender breasts. Had hot flashes while I wasn't having periods but those went away since I started having periods again. I also was having huge amounts of cervical mucous that strands all the way into the toilet at times. I was checked a couple years ago and the Dr noted the large amount of clear mucous but no ideas. The huge amount of mucous is back. Is this normal? I know I'm a late peri-menopause. I do carry too much belly fat and was wondering if I might have PCOS or something? Any certain tests that should be done?

hi I am suffering from pcos. I am married. it was detected 10 months ago. I want to ask that can I get pregnant with pcos is there will be any complication. I was taking yasmin tablets since 10 months for regular menstrual cycle & nacfil forte sachet since 6 months. I left taking yasmin for 2 months but my periods were regular but now I have missed my period for last 2 months. I took pregnancy test twice at home but it was negative. still I am confused that is the problem. I am trying for baby for last 4 months. pls suggest with proper conclusion

Dear Doctor, Kindly go through this lengthy letter to you with patience and kindly advise me proper advise to clear my mind . I am 72 year old male from India and strictly Vegetarian.I am not sedentary type and walks 4 ½ km every day in the morning and always active. IHD and BP and TYPE II DIABETES I have had IHD (T wave inversion) in the year 1977 and mild hypertension in 1981. DIABETES IN 2010. The doctor who has attended then on me prescribed Aten 50 in 1977. Since then I have been using Aten 50 in one form or other like Aten 50/Atenlol/Stamlobeta. 37 long years have passed with out any problem with either of these two conditions . My BP is quite normal 120/80 and some times 110/70 and some times on very few occassions 140/80 or 90 and my pulse rate will be around 58 to 65 most of the time . My BP on the day of the visting my physician is 140/80 as on 12th dec 2014. My diabetes is under control and am taking glycomet 250 mg twice a day. The attending physician who is an MD has prescribed Cresar 40 mg (Telmisartan) and asked me to stop taking Stamlobeta 50 mg which i am taking from 2006 and further said since i am using this Amlodipine combined Atenlol ,its time to change the medicine and Cresar will also take care of the diabetes and kidneys and heart (IHD) besides BP. As on 12th july 2014 my Lipid profile is very normal. Cholestrol 123 , Tryglycerides 141 ,HDL 53 and VLDL 23. Kindly advise on the following. 1. Since I am taking Stamlobeta since 2006 and prior to that Aten 50 from 1977 to 2006., do I have to taper stamlobeta dosage besides taking Cresar 40 mg? 2. Do i have to continue taking Stamlobeta in small dosage along with Cresar 40 mg?.If so in which dosage do I have to take? 3.Is cresar 40 mg safe for IHD patients also? Please do not form the impression that i have no confidence in my Physician. But i have a tendency to go for second opinion on new drugs before starting a new one. I do not blindly or in hasty manner take any new medicine .Hence I require an expert advise in the matter on the following. If you require any further info, kindly advise me. sincerely somayajulu

I and my friend had an unprotected intercourse on 14th Feb, she took two tablet of menstrogen tablet and in the night of that same 14th feb, her period came. In the month of March she expected her next period but we also her intercourse that same 14th and she took two tablet of menstrogen again but her period did no come. After a week of missed period She did the urine pregnancy test, which showed negative and the doctor gave her some pregnancy preventive drugs for three days and mesoprostal, she took the drugs and did the test again after 3days and the result was still negative, After 5 days she went to do the blood test which showed negative still. This time she was worried, Three days after she did the blood test her period came. What could it be that have delayed her period for that long, Could she still be pregnant or not. I NEED YOUR HELP DOC.
