Hi there. Alaxan, Mefenamic Acid and Cotrimoxazole are all prohibited for pregnant women. However, alot of women don’t know they are pregnant during their 1st trimester, and thus, accidentally take medicine that are not allowed during pregnancy, but deliver perfectly normal and healthy babies. 95% of congenital anomaly and miscarriage are due to genetic disorders rather than exogenous substances. For your peace of mind, have a congenital anomaly scan done during your 18th week of gestation.
