i had my last periods on 20th jan 2013 ,which went on for 5 days.After that till april15th 2013 i did not get my periods , so i consulted a gynaecologist , who did a pregnancy test ,which turned out to be negative. SO she prescribed me Cycloreg for 5 days , 3 times a day. i took all the tablets till 19th APril 2013, and still i did not get periods till 29th april.SO i again consulted my doctor ,n this time pregnancy test was positive . My Antenatal ultrasound shows i am 4-5 weeks pregnant now my question is - what are the effects of cycloreg on the baby.SHould i terminate or continue with pregnancy??

Hi!! As you have said,on a scale of 1 to 10,chances that fetus is affected are 1 out of 10. Also, it is quite likely that the fetus is not affected at all. Whether the chances are that that this is curable or not depends upon the extent of the problem. ...

hello dr. I used condom each and every time while having sex but this month I missed my period. I am having a regular period with 28 days of cycle. but now it crossed 35 days. I'm in little doubt that am I pregnant? but how can I conceive when I'was using condom each and every time? I heard about mensurol tablet to continue period. I want to know that is it a abortion pills? would it be okay to take it to continue my period? can it harm to my further pregnancy? I'm not sure i'm pregnant or not if I'm pregnant then it is my first pregnancy. even I got married February 29 last year but I and my husband also not ready for child because still I'm studying and it will take 6 months to complete. I'm very confused what should I do..!! please help me.......

Hi, Even condoms are not 100 percent effective at times leakage can occur in a condom and you can even get pregnant by pre penile secreations, may be secreations you might have had during fore play. Mensurol tablet is an ayurvedic tablet so i am not 100 percent sure but yes it is an abortion pill and causes bleeding to occur. Hi i m 18 years old i m depression patient and i take depression tablets since 4 years but before 5 months i had operation of stomach cyst of tubercuulosis after operation i take .5mg alprax tablet then aftet few days i take .25 mg tablet but now i m taking half .25ng tablet but now i want not to take these tablet but still i had sleeping problem and breathing problems and too much other so i want u to help me and give me suggestion to get rid of these tablet and live normal life

i m taken doxycycline and lactic acid bacillus capsules two times for three days on 26/27/28/ of july in before missing my m.c. period date.whether i have to terminate my pregnancy or not. plz suggest the side effects .

Hi!! If you have taken doxyxcycline before missing your period or before you are 6 weeks pregnant,it has no side effects on the pregnancy. After 6 weeks of pregnancy,do not take any medication without your obstetrician's advice as this can be harmful to the unborn child as the blood supply to the fetus is established by then.These medications which are harmful to the fetus in the womb are called teratogenic medications. ...
