I am a 23 year old male with skin colored bumps on the rim of the penis. I have noticed them over the last 2-3 years. I am sexually active but only with one partner and most of our contact is protected. The bumps were there even before the first time I had sex. I am worried these could be genital warts and I could transmit them to my partner. Kindly advise.

Hi, Your history is suggestive of a diagnosis of pearly penile papules. This is a harmless condition seen in many males. It is not infectious or progressive and hence can be left alone. For patients who are keen to pursue treatment from a cosmetic point of view the bumps can be removed with a laser by a dermatologist, however they invariably recur in a few months-years. iam using onabet cream for penis for 2 months, but still the infections not gone. if i stop using cream again the infection is visible.can u tell an alternate cream

Thank you for the information. Just brown color of the inner side of the foreskin is not indicative of any disease. Only if this discoloration is associated with any redness, itching, discharge, blistering or tightness of the foreskin is a pathology suspected. doctor advised me to use triglow cream.but when im using this cream regularly the pigment is lightening.there is small light brown marks in face now,doctr has told me to review surgery after 3 months.i am afraid to use d cream because it is a steroid..and also already in my face there is d marks of surgery.if im doing d surgery and the marks increases means..i dont know wat i need to do.whether i can make my face clean?please give me a suggestion.

Hi, We normally avoid giving any antibiotic during pregnancy and shouls be avoided un till very necessary. A litlle vaginal discharge is normal during pregnancy and considered as normal.
