can Bromergon 2.5 mg tablets stop lactating without pregnancy?

1 Answers

Hi maryz, bromocriptine is a prolactin inhibiting drug. It can suppress lactation effectively. But what do you mean by without pregnancy? Please clarify. If lactation occur without pregnancy, it can be suppressed by bromocriptine only if that is related with prolactin level. Hope you got the answer. Thanks

Male 19, just had two teeth out, one extraction has stitches, the other doesn't, the one without stitches has now got a huge blood clot hanging from the sit and is still bleeding, its been almost 24 hours since I had these two removed. How can I make this blood clot small / make the bleeding stop

  Doctor's Answer

Hi, It can bleed if stitches are given to you, though not heavy bleeding. It might bleed when you spit or may be otherwise but in drops. You should avoid eating anything hard spicy and also avoid eating from that side where teeth are removed and also don't try and gargle or spit continuously. You can have plenty of fluids directly orally, not by straw. You may also have ice cream and it should go away and you may continue with pain killers and antibiotics for now. You may also do warm rinse. It ...

Now I am 10 weeks pregnant and my doctor is saying that USG is showing that the foetus is 9 weeks old and no such limbs are seen in the foetus. Doctor advised to take Injection CORION 5000IU weekly and ARGIPREG Sachet -1 sachet daily with other regular Tablets like ASA 50(1 daily), SYSFOL PLUS (2tab daily) and DUBAGEST-200(1 daily). Doctor is suspecting the foetus is of poor growth and poor liquor. Doctor said to take Injection for 3 weeks and if any improvements are not found then, I have to discontinue my pregnancy, but I am not in a mood to take such decision. Please guide me if I can carry my pregnancy and what shall I do now?

Hi!! As you have said,on a scale of 1 to 10,chances that fetus is affected are 1 out of 10. Also, it is quite likely that the fetus is not affected at all. Whether the chances are that that this is curable or not depends upon the extent of the problem. ...

  Doctor's Answer

Hi, The first thing we want to rule out is whether or not you are pregnant, although there are many causes to missing periods but since you have history of thyroid and you have ruled that you can't be pregnant so i would recomend you to get a throid test. When was the last time when you got your throid test and if you got them recently then please attach the reports. There can be many more hormonal causes to it,and periods can be corrected by giving hormonal drugs which will cause withdrawl ble ...
