After drinking ice cold water I begin to experience short of breath. About a month ago in October, I had coronary bypass artery surgery. What is this happening?

PAST HISTORY : Allergy, acid reflux, & ALCPA

Hard to unswer exactly, because it can have several reasons. As usually cold weather causes vasospasm of heart vessels and some anginal symptoms, including shortness of breath, theoritically we can consider the same thing here. In addition cold water can cause some types of cardiac arrhythmias in patients who have underlying heart diseases, and this arrhythmia can be felt like shortness of breath. Cold water can also cause bronchoconstriction and hense-shortness of breath. I would advice you to avoid ice cold water, also avoid swimming in cold water... If you have the same symptom during physical activity, you should visit your cardiologist.

Hi, As you told me your history about sex with your husband and about your periods, it is very difficult that you got pregnant because the maximum life of a sperm inside the female genitalia is maximum of 7 days which happen during ovulation time. Although the time when you had sex was in an unsafe time (the time you could have got pregnant) and you already had your period after that twice, it is extremely rare that you might have been pregnant. But still just to confirm that you don't have ...

started using a cpap in october and also b12 supplements . Went to dentist in october everything was fine. I just noticed about 7 small black dots on my back molars, I assume they are cavities. For someone that hasn't had a cavity in 20 years, it's got to be one of these factors. So is it the cpap or the b12 that's causing my problem?

About a year ago I had a serious dental problem. I had an apicectomy performed and the surgeon left a lot of leftover amalgam inside my jaw. To cut a long story short my body rejected the amalgam and it started to come out of my jaw in pieces. Before the dentist realised what the problem was he prescribed about 4 courses of antibiotics and this led to a very severe balanitis after the 4th course. It got treated succesfully with cream and fluconazol(150mg). Now It seems to return in a very mild form lasting a couple of days after I treat with cream every couple of months or so. Do I need to visit the doctor again or should I wait until it stops naturally? I had surgery to remove the amalgam from the jaw when they realised that that was causing the inflammation. My jaw is recovering very well.

I think post surgery, Your dentist must have taken the X-Ray to confirm complete removal of amalgum. Balantitis most likely is coincidental need to consult dermatologist for same. ...
