Recently my father complained of mild chest pain..Doctors did an angiogram and found out that he has Triple Vessel desease. They have suggested PTCA to LAD & RCA. We want to take a second opinion on this before going ahead.

Hi, I have seen the angiography report written by you. As many of the findings on angiography are subjective and can be decided by the interventional cardiologist while doing and watching the action of heart and flow of dye during the procedure itself ,it would be a good idea that you should discuss the result with the cardiologist himself. Received an IV just over 3weeks ago in my wrist (ouch). In the last 7days or so my entire arm is in pain, with my vein protruding along the forearm, making a slight bruise along the path of the vessel. I notified the doctors office asap, and was told by a nurse that I should use a warm compress and "move the vein around." Um no thank you- not comfortable with that. So here I am only a few days after being reassure that I am OK, but NOW both my hands/fingers are also very cold with my left foot + toes extremely numb and discolored. Clearly an issue, but it's 330am and I'm desperately seeking some piece of mind so I can finally sleep for a few hours. Definitely going to the clinic in the morning tho!!!! Please help

My father is 53 yrs old. He had been diagnosed with Coronary artery disease ,TMT positive,Diabetes Mellitus CT Coronary Angiogram showed High calcium score,Single Branch Vessel disease.His heart was said to be very healthy so far. A 100% blockage and 80% blockage of the arteries had been detected and collateral ways have been formed.He has not faced any symptoms of Angina so far.At the long run , anything can happen which is very sure.Could you please suggest what should be done - Bypass or Angioplasty and is it an emergency which needs to be right away?

blockage more then 75% has to be opened according to American and European recomendations. The thing that collaterals are formed and he doesn't have symptoms, on the one hand is good, it's not an amergency situatuon, but on the other hand as some diabetics can't feel pain as hard as healthy people, the real clinical picture can hide and so better not to loose time!. Following is the report of angiogram. Please give us your opinion. Coronary Angiogram Route : Right radial route Hardvvares : SF Tiger catheter Contrast : Iohexol CAG report: LMCA: Normal. LAD : Type III vessel. Ostio proximal LAD shows 70, lesion. Mid LAD shows normal. Distal LAD shows diffusely diseased. Diagonal branches shows thin vessel with mild disease. LCX : Dominant vessel. Proximal segment shows mild disease. Mid segment shows 70% long lesion, and after major OM shows 80% lesion. Major Om shows mild disease. PDA shows normal. RCA : Non-dominant with thin vessel. Mild disease. Im ression: CAD /Acute IWMI Two vessel disease. PLAN: PTCA to LCX ( Culprit Artery) PTCA to LAD later
