Hi, The two reports are very different and unsatisfactory and i can only say that get your test again from any good reputed lab again. The report common is normal motility,some infection because both reports have pus cells,so except for these two things rest no other thing is common so you will have to get a third test and may if it matches any one report of the above then we can do a confirmatory test if required. ...

My 2 1/2 year old son has a swollen upper lip (not just the lip, but everything from the bottom of the nose down). He has had a cough for about a week and a half. About a week ago, he started getting a fever every day. Took him to the Dr. 3 days ago, and he has been on antibiotics since then. Fever has since stopped. Cough sounds like it's starting to get better (still bad). Should I be concerned about his swollen lip? I am pretty sure that it was swollen before we went to the Dr., but I didn't think to ask about it while we were there. Also, he hasn't had much of an appetite for about a week now. Most days, he's been eating 4-5 bites of food. (But he seems to be staying well hydrated.) To my knowledge, he hasn't bumped his lip. Nothing new has been introduced to his diet, so I don't think it's an allergic reaction. (He had these same anitbiotics when he was 15 months old) Thanks.

Hello, my baby is 5m and 9 day old today. One of the ped asked us to start fruits. So we gav him banana and den mango. Post mango has green loose motion. It's 15 days now. He is in medicines. Now he does watery green motion once a a day and den 2 or 3 time motion yellow color but not watery. We got stool test done 2 days back. It says mucus present. Occult blood -positive Reaction- acidic Rbc per hpf 1-2 Macrophages 0-1 Epithelial cells 1-2 Pus cells 35-40 Reducing Substance -trace. DOES reducing substance means he has lactose intolerance ? What is pus cell and is it too serious ? I'm worried. We came to India once he was 3m 5days old . So he hasn't taken rotavirus injection. Is it because of this. my dad did a test for leptospirosis a week after exposure to contaminated water, the result is negative. I have read articles saying that incubation period of the bacteria is up to 3 weeks. Is it possible to become positive even if the first test is negative? 2 or 3 weeks after exposure, my dad got fever, headache, muscle pain, swollen ankle (I dont know if it's because of his gout. his uric acid result is at 420). Hi, the clinical feature of your father is suspicious. Leptospirosis may sometimes present with fever and muscle pain. There is RBC in the urine which is also abnormal. I suggest you to repeat the antibody and urine test. And don't bother to visit a doctor if the fever worsen. Thanks ...
