Muco purulent conjunctivitis

I am experiencing persistent eye redness resembling conjunctivitis. Along with that I have an abscessed tooth in my right upper jaw. Is the abscess causing the eye redness? I'm not sure whether to get an appointment first with my dentist or my opthalmologist.

there is no connection between the two organs. ie Eyes and Teeth. Kindly treat the problem that is worse first and then follow up with the next issue ...

I have conjunctivitis and have double knee replacement scheduled in about 18 days. Could this cause a problem with developing an infection in my knee replacement site?

i don't think so take antibiotic then go to surgery ...
