Loprin

Hi I m 27 years old and I m 12 weeks pregnant.... I have fluctuations in my blood pressure sometimes it's high and sometimes it's low....like either it's 135/90 or 100/60.... Furthermore I have accelerated heart rate....my doctor has given me loprin 75 one time a day...dophastan 10 mg and myfol tablet two times a day....I feel fatigue as well... I am concerned with my fluctuating bp ... Is it appropriate for me to take loprin if I also have low blood pressure....further what precautions should I take as my doctor don't discuss things in detail.... I will be obliged by ur early response

Hi there. Loprin is an anti-platelet drug. It is ok if you still take it evem if you have low blood pressure because it does not directly affect your blood pressure. Continue with your bp monitoring. Seek consult immediately if your bp rises above 150/90, headache, blurring of vision or any untowards sign or symptom. Avoid salty food. Good luck. ...
