I have been married for 5 years, had 2 abortions (normal) (so I am not infertile since I concieved twice and was normal), now trying to concieve for 3 years but facing PCOS.. The gynac has given clomeva -500 for 3 months, and HCG iv- 1000 for egg release, but still unable to concieve, for last month she has prescribed PROGYNOVA, and I have not got my periods for this month, which was due on 15th June... I got my pregnancy reports negative..... ( I wish to wait but she has prescribed MEPRATE; to start my periods).... she is planning to do ASM test and tube test later.....

Hi. There is a way to compromise if your doctor wants to induce your menstruation but you want to wait. Instead of Meprate you may take Duphaston 2x a day for 10 days. If you are not pregnant, you will have our menstruation a few days after last intake of Duphaston. But if you are pregnant, this will act as hormonal support for your pregnancy. ...
