Hi! Yesterday, I went to see my dentist for tooth extraction and currently taking antibiotics and mefenamic acid for 7 days. Next week, on Wednesday, I'm going to undergo blood testing, urinalysis and fecalysis. Question, is it okay to undergo these procedures even though I'm taking medicines? I'm so busy and Wednesday is the only day I'm available. Plus, clinics are closed on Christmas holiday. Please help me. Thanks!

Medicines do alter the routine blood analysis results. But if your dentist has asked for it, then it might have been for some specific reason. just inform the laboratory that you are on antibiotics to prevent any wrong interpretation. Dear doctors, I am a research scholar and working on signal transduction studies and regularly use several irritants and ion channel blockers. I am suffering from excess keratosis on palms and soles and some times deep painful fissures from almost two years. It was started as a small thickening patch an left arm and recovered after treatment with moisturizing creams. After that I went to Japan as part of my research programme and one nurse given me creams with anti-fungal compounds and urea but the problem was enhanced and started the deep fisures on my soles. I came back to India and used homeopathy medicine for one weak and after that i visited a doctor. He suggested me to apply lemon juice trice daily and use vitamin C along with high doses of antifungal tablets and creams. I used this medicine for 6 months which further worsen my situation and my skin became very thick and appeared like toe nails and spread-ed to all areas of palms and soles. I changed the doctor and he given me the isotretinol for 2 months and given vitamin A and D combination for 4 months which improved my condition alot. Now I am taking a dosage of 6000 IU Vit A and 1000 IU Vit D once for every 3days. Whether I will completely relieve from my problem with these medicines or is there any permanent recovery in ayurvedic?

Hi Hoosna, None of the creams are going to work. Sagging is because of loss of breast volume and excess skin post breast feeding. The only options to give you good results are either increasing the breast volume via silicone implants or fat grafting and or a breast lift. Both these are surgical procedures. I am suffering severe leg pain from past 6 months with swelling. I wasn't able to walk .Recently when met the orthopedist he had taken a blood test in which the ESR was found to be 45. Doctor prescribed me MEXT 7.5 and folic acid tablets . I hadn't read the side effects before I started using . I have used it for two days i.e only folic acid tablets . .... Doctor had prescribed the course for a month . Should I continue with these medicines ? Is it safe to use these medicines ? Doctor has also prescribed paracetamol and a painkiller . My face,neck and arms are pigmented since the last two years I consulted many doctors but the real problem with my skin has been detected recently.
