My 13 year old son had testicule torsion about a year ago, he was in the hospital and had surgery to remove one of his testicles. Now almost a year later he suddenly developed a red rash on his ball sac where the surgical incision is and its not smooth but rather rough , peeling a little but not hot to touch however feels like a slight pinching feeling. What may be the cause and should I just seek medical attention or do you have alternative suggestions?

Hi, its my 34th week of pregnancy, I've been diagnosed with gestational diabetics and i am taking insulin everyday. right now my baby is weighing nearer to 2.6 kg and my Doc is suggesting delivery in the next week itself, due to the complications and since there is a single loop of cord around my baby's neck, can i get a suggestion regarding this, shall i go with what my Doc says?

Usually in gestational diabetes if sugars are well controlled on insulin,I would suggest delivery by induction of labour between 37-38 weeks of pregnancy.Also,there should be no other complications in the pregnancy.Trial of labour is recommended if no associated complications and even if single loop of cord is present around the fetal neck. I am 7.4 weeks pregnant. The ultrasound shows 13 mm embryo and 30 mm gestational sac. According to the GS, i am 8 weeks pregnant, that is impossible. I was told that the GS measurements can vary and the most accurate wayto determine gestational age is embryo size. I would appreciate your advice, thanks.

I donâ€™t think this is impossible. This is just a simple case of misinterpretation of pregnancy aging. When obstetricians date pregnancy, we donâ€™t count from the day the intercourse happened. We date from the 1st day of mentruation. And, discrepancy from the ultrasound and menstrual counting is normal. It is very hard for it to be 100 percent match. Dear Dr. I am 28 years old (140lbs), and I am about 7 weeks pregnant with my baby #2. My first one is 20 months old. At 5w, I experienced some brown discharges, so I went to the doctor for check up. Dr. Said my gestational sac is at 12mm, and lay very low in my uterus. Dr. Has sent me to bed rest for about more than a week now. I still see some brown discharge every other day when I wake up in the morning. Sometimes it's dark brown, and sometimes it's just slight brown with mucus. I am 7 weeks and 2 days. My hgc rose, dropped and slightly rose again. I had an u/s today and it appears my sac is collapsing. There was a yolk sac and fetal pole but no heartbeat. I'm sure I am miscarrying but I don't know what a collapsed sac means or what could have caused it? With my daughter I had a vanishing twin and couldn't see her heartbeat until 8&1/2 weeks. I'm just curious if thia pregnancy is infact not viable. I've had no symptoms of a miscarriage and still feel pregnant. My cervix is closed and the sac is not headed towards my cervix. I don't know what is going on.

Period was late 4 - 5 days, then I had sudden cramping and thought it was my period symptom. Went to the ladies and realized I had passed out a lot of water like liquid on my panty liner. Later in the evening, cramping became bad, went to toilet to check, I had passed out a jelly bloody like tissue that is quite huge like a small air balloon....(it's not blood clot) and went hospital. At hospital, nurses did a pregnancy urine test but results were negative. Question: Can I pass out gestational say due to maybe some blighted ovum case but urine test still show as negative ....hcg levels low?? I had a miscarriage before just 1.4yrs ago where baby was 3 months then suddenly no heartbeat and had to perform a d/c.

If pregnancy test done on same day and negative and serum beta hcg test low, can be biochemical pregnacy . Ectopic pregnancy should be ruled out. Best thing could have been biopsy of the sac like thing which was expelled out.
