I have had ulceratiions on my tongue for 10 years (on and off) and have been told there is no specic cause or treatment. Recently I took a combionation of 2 antibiotics, amoxicillin and azithromycin for helicobacter pilori in the stomach and it temporarily stopped the ulceration. On completion they resumed. On another occasion the same scenerio occured. How can it not be bacterial when it responds to antibiotics? My tongue is and has been so sore for so long Please Help!
