Cataract Surgery can cost from Rs ,5000 to 40,000, depending on IOL implant opted for, or even 60,000 to Rs 1.5 lakhs, if very advanced IOL implants called multifocal or accommodating varieties are selected. The decision depends on the operating surgeon, the state of the patients' eye, where the surgery will be performed (standard of hospital) and finally the affordability of the patient.
