My son is 2 yrs old and having severe problem of constipation. It looks like there are bruises in his anus due to hard stool. His diet includes one bottle of milk early in the morning, then Indian bread soaked with milk, then cooked pulses water , then rice with butter in the afternoon, again bottle of milk in the afternoon post lunch(nap time), roasted grams or sprouts along with egg or rawa. Hi, Which milk do you give him because he is having plenty of milk and many times a child is not able to digest milk specially cow milk causes a lot of constipation,main thing will still remain to change his diet if he is not suffering from any medical illness. Thanks for your query Sinarest drops contain paracetamol for fever and phenylpropalamine for nasal decongestion. If your daughter is not having any nasal symptoms there is no need to give sinarest drops and these should be given only under medical supervision could be harmful.I suggest you to shift to calpol which is more safe for children.Dose is 15mg/kg.If your daughter is 15 kg u may give her 1.5 ml calpol drops every 6 hourly along with sponging with water at room temperature all over the b ...

Hello Doctor, My baby is one n half year. He is suffering from cold since last five days. We were given by the GP Ezipect cough syrup. Can we give this syrup to the baby as the enclosed leaflet int the bottle says "for two years and above". Appreciate your advise. Thanks fully, Joe

Hello Doctor This is shiwani here .My son is two years and 3 months old and he is suffering from constipation from last 7 months.I have consulted a good pediatrician (Fortis hospital) and he has suggested me that reduce direct milk and try to give milk product.and also given Egylex (as per requirement) and Ligniflux gel for apply on the local area.i did the same again two time i met him he said it will take time.but till date he is suffering from the same problem sometimes it is ok but most of the time i have to give Egylex to him.so please give me suggestion fot the next action.
