i have swollen gum on my left upper teeth behind my last tooth, i am having difficulty swelling . it hurts my left ear and i cant open my mouth wide enough to eat and chew anything . My wisdom teeth came out about 4 years ago, i had all 4 come out at the same time, it did not hurt at all then, But right now it seems as if it is infected and i would like to know why?

hello,
it is better u get a X ray done to see whether your wisdom tooth is decayed or not.maybe there is a pocket present around your wisdom tooth due to impaction of food particles etc as the access to the area is limited &it is difficult to clean.

Hello mani1989, Its difficult to say sure without studing xray but it may be due to infection in upper wisdom teeth and It may be due to food lodgement between 2nd and 3rd molar which will cause caries and this will lead to infection in periapical region .Please visit nearby dentist and ask for xray .

Looking at your concern, it most relates to your upper wisdom tooth. If it has been a recurrent issue you need to visit a dentist and get it examined.

Hello
Just go to a dentist immediately without any delay to get your teeth and gums examined. Go for x-ray also to check any decay or any other problem in your wisdom tooth.
For the time being rinse thoroughly with warm saline (Salt added to lukewarm water) and if possible do take any gum paint for symptomatic relief.

I am a mother of a young child aged 5years who is having a discomfort in one of his teeth and also a noticeable swelling on his gum and a small amount of yellow discharge occasionally from it. Hello i had my no 48 wisdom tooth removed on thursday morning and its been nearly 3 days now. What i wanted to know was i have noticed yesterday and today that the gum which had folded over the extraction site has receeded and left behind a thin white strand of tissue. is this a normal part of the healing process. I am not in any pain and have not smoked since the day of extraction (before). Also i know your advice will be to stop permanently but how long should i wait till i can smoke again

I hv been having problems of dizziness, and spinning sensations since last 4/5 days. Had the same earlier abt 2 yrs back but on a very mild scale and they went away without any medication. This time it has been rather acute. Visited the physician and hv been prescribed Vertin 8 mg 1x3 times a day before bkfst, lunch and dinner. After three days feeling better but the sensations are still there albeit milder. Feel the spinning sensation especially when I look straight up/down and then bring the head back to normal posn.Again when I am changing sides on bed while lying down from left to right rpt left to right I feel the same sensation. Tho' the dizziness and the spinning sensations are less now after taking the dosages of Vertin 8 last three days would u hv any advice as to how long it takes normally for the problems to be totally eliminated? I am particularly concerned as I am, tho' a retired person, a man of fairly active habits and for the various domestic chores often hv to drive quite a bit in heavy city traffic and as a result of this problem am completely grounded which is affecting our day-to-day life styles and needs.

I had my lower impacted wisdom tooth removed 6 days ago under l/a had stitches in. I have been in pain since and it has not subsided but got worse the pain is unbareable and is a throbbing pain. I visited the dentist but she says it's not infected but the pain is in the jaw line And up my cheek. I am taking pain relief every four hours and it is still absolute agony please help....

I was suffering from blood in my stool from long time until i consulted a doc and he said that i have fissure. I got it cured through ointments and having drinking fibre. However, from last few monts I have started suffering from incomplete evacuation. All the time my stomach is bloated up and I dont feel like eating anything. I have increased my water intake and also have started eating fibre fruits to a great extent but nothing is helping me. Howsoever hard I try, I am not able to evacuate completely. I go to washroom at least 5 times a day but still i feel full all the time. Sometimes I get black stool and sometimes its normal. My stool is not hard at all. I feel uneasy all the time.
