good day.I'm just worried about my pregnancy.I've taken alaxan fr,mefefenamic acid,ceterezine & cotrimoxazole during my 1st trimester of pregnancy.how this drugs affect my baby?

Hi there. Alaxan, Mefenamic Acid and Cotrimoxazole are all prohibited for pregnant women. However, alot of women donâ€™t know they are pregnant during their 1st trimester, and thus, accidentally take medicine that are not allowed during pregnancy, but deliver perfectly normal and healthy babies. 95% of congenital anomaly and miscarriage are due to genetic disorders rather than exogenous substances. For your peace of mind, have a congenital anomaly scan done during your 18th week of gestation.

Hi I had a surgery done to remove a raptured sebaceous cyst on my left buttock which has been left open - there are a lot pus remaining n the nurse said that i might be gettin it again n can you suggest me ways/remedies how to get the pus out completely n how to avoid getting that cyst again [ got the cyst at the same place as last year's]

Hi!! combiflam( ibuprofen+paracetamol) is a non steroidal antiinflammatory drug that is not safe in pregnancy if taken in large doses,but if taken during the pregnancy on one/two occasions has no effect on the pregnancy So side effects are mostly minimal in your case if taken once or twice. ...

Baby is suffering from cold and more importantly cough since past 2 days. Doctor has prescribed T-minic drops 0.5 ml oral for 3 days and post to which cough didnot subside, then to use Kufril drops 0.5 ml thrice a day. However on using first instance of T-minic baby had pooped 4 times (Can be because he was on antibiotics just a week back for ear infection. His stools were more in number atleast twice after every feed. But once medicnes are stopped his stools were back to normal and he poops only once a day). and also his cough has increased very much. His feeding routine got slightly distrubed as he is not able to complete the bottle with ease. He leaves an ounce or so sometimes due to stuffy nose or congestion. Are these medications safe for a 5 month old baby? if not what precautions to be taken to soothe him from cough and cold?

Hello, I am undergoing an IVF treatment this moth and was put on dupheston to delay my last period by my doctor. The period when it arrived was much lighter than my usual period. I am currently on day 7 of my cycle and have been taking the highest dose of injections Bravelle and Lupron every day from day 2. However in todays scan it appeared to be a poor egg development and one ovary seemed not responsive. I am concerned that Dupheston delaying myFSH period has had some effect on my ovarian performance. On day 2 my FSH was 13.5. Please advice

Hi, Dupheston injection is providing support to maintain your pregnancy and contains progesterone and to maintain your fsh you are being given bravelle injections. It should not delay your ovarian performance and must be given to you looking at some deficency,and poor egg devlopment can have many causes. ...
