hi my dad (68 years) has undergone a Turp sugery on 23rd Dec.He has been fitted with a cathether..He has been prescribed the following medicines (Pan 40 mg, levomac,augmentin 625 mg, chymoral fote)..He is taking it regularly...But the problem is he feels sleepy always and in a day sleeps for atleast 16 hrs (altough not so tight sleep)..am not sure of the reason why he feels so drowsy..can it be because of the tablets..also for info he was given spinal anaesthasia for the sugery..please advise..

Hi, I would recommend you to get a serum electrolyte done of your dad. If sodium levels comes out to be low then you have the cause and you will have to add a bit of salt in his diet and he will improve. Hi, The foreskin on my penis is quite tight and I am not able to retract that easily. I am in a planning for marriage in next 2 - 3 months. So any resolution for the above problem? I have checked for options and came to know that Circumcision can be an option but worried about the process of removal of complete foreskin. I personally feel that foreskin is a very sensitive part of penis comprised of vital sex nerves, which helps to release sensual felling during masturbation/sexual activity but as the part of process to circumcision surgery, the foreskin need to be cut away so, worried that, without foreskin how I can get sexual sensation in future or during foreplay? Hi, Usually tight fore skin indicates that you either had phimosis or infection or scarring of your fore skin,which has to be removed now. I am 31 year old. I do masternate normally. But my foreskin is tight and it does come down from head. When i tried to pull it back when penis is not erect, I was able to do it But partially. I saw some part of my foreskin is still stuck to the lower portion of head. Means left part is fine but on right side foreskin is stuck to the head. Hello. I am 35 have ENT problems- I have had tonsillitis many times as a child and quinsy about 6 times. Following a bad time with the last quinsy I am now booked in gor a tonsillectomy on Thursday morning. My other symptoms are excessive mucus in my throat which I get out and get rid of. I have been diagnosed with polyps in my sinuses. I have been told I have a lot of scaring from the quinsy's and a tonsillectomy will not be easy due to bleeding etc. From my point of view I feel having this operation is prompt and I haven't been examined thoroughly to see if it is something else causing the abcesses. The thing is reading up about quinsy- they form after a bout of streptococcus or untreated tonsillitis. But when I get one, it can come on suddenly within hours- a gland on the left hand side of my neck swells and then within hours it hurts, stinks and I have pain all in my ear too. So I eat toast cooked about 3times so extremely hard and sharp and cry whilst swallowing it- hoping it burst and relieves the pressure. That always worked until last time and I got worse after it burst and got hospitalised for treatment. They had never treated me before or known the way it develops and now want to take my tonsils out. I have scared tissue now- surgery will be hard- then I may get more after (my throat is already tight) and if it is my Weber gland at fault having a tonsillectomy will not stop the abscess from forming again. What should I do?

Ok, I believe I have read or am understanding from reading on the internet that 3 days after a right femur angiogram that it is possibly a subcuteneous hematoma. See 3 days after my angiogram my right testcle is very tender and sore and the area from the testicle to slighly lower the angiogram injection site. I have a little bruising on the lower part of my penis to the right part of the scrotum. Could this be a hematoma or just accidental damage due to the 30 min press they use after tge surgery to make aure the femur doesnt bleed? This evening i also got a tight constricting feeling on my left femur artery in my left thigh. I have been recently diagnoised with heart failure and no blockage, but with an ef of 12%. I'm a 45 year old male. I need to make a follow up appt anyway so i guess tomorrow I will do that and discuss my syptoms to my Cardiologist. Thanks Craig
