For my sister in the age of 14, few steroids injected to suppress the growth of an abscess which was grown due to herpes viral infection in the upper lip below nose. The abscess growth stopped and we satisfied about the medication. Now she is 30, but her personnel body growth is getting reduced day by day. She is around 40 kg now. We have a doubt, is there any side effect happened because of the steroid injected.

I delivered my baby boy by c_section.he is 5months and now I'm facing problems with milk supply. He is not getting enough though he is wetting 5to6 diapers daily and 2,3 poos daily but he never seems to satisfied except first morning feeding. My is an IUGR baby from 8th month and had growth reduction in her abdominal area but she is a term baby and weighed 2.3kg and was not even admitted to nicu as she was healthy.she has latching problems and her weight became less after satisfied discharge from hospital and then i began formula nd pumped my milk as well.weight increased normaly and was healthy for her first checkup too.two days back after not giving breastmilk for 3 weeks as my milk was drained but i pumped out milk,which was very thick and fed her.she is having loose motions and found few blood stains.motion routine was done and appeared to have 40-50 pus cells, RBC 10-15 and Occult blood was present with greenish yellow loose motion.and she was given antibiotic drops and motion routine was done again and the pus cells have reduced to 15-20 and the rbc is Nil! Does rbc nill means there is no occult blood too? Moreover my baby was hungry and cried every hour and i fed her too.but now she is fed only after 2 hours and seems to be fine.is this overfeeding the reason or was it my thick stored breast milk? She is two months yesterday!

HI first of all your baby is doing fine so you dont need to worry . 2nd it was just because of infection which she got not because of milk or overfeeding ...theres no thumb rule that you should feed after 2 hr ...ideal is to have demand feed means if baby cries you should feed but gap between 2 feeds should not be more than 3-4 hr otherwise baby may become hypoglycemic...no rbc means theres no bleed ...
