I have a 22 month old daughter. She is having fever right now. Today's the first day. Fever is around 102 degrees. I have given her Sinarest paeditric drops 1.5ml. Is that the right dosage? Should I continue with that or should I shift to Calpol Paedritic drops (each ml contains Paracetamol IP 100 mg, colour - sunset yellow). What should be the dosage?

Thanks for your query Sinarest drops contain paracetamol for fever and phenylpropalamine for nasal decongestion. If your daughter is not having any nasal symptoms there is no need to give sinarest drops and these should be given only under medical supervision could be harmful.I suggest you to shift to calpol which is more safe for children.Dose is 15mg/kg.If your daughter is 15 kg u may give her 1.5 ml calpol drops every 6 hourly along with sponging with water at room temperature all over the b ...

Hi.. my daughter 3.5years old got sick yesterday.. 38-39temp.. was using calpol and neurofen to control her tem.. on our gp advice now she on 2.5ml three times..(tonzils infection) but the antibioticks not afecting her temp (39Â°c) so far.. gp advice- to give paracetamol or neurofen to control her temp.. she says antibiotics will start to work only afer 24-47 hours.. its thats true or we need onother antibiotics. Btw- she is not complaining for sore throat.. thank you

Hi. I get pain in back side of head. The pain occurs exactly above the neck(back side) below the skull. It occurs sometimes not often. I dont know why that pain occurs. As i noted it occurs when i read something in a moving vehicle mostly and in another situations sometimes. If i get that pain i cant bear the pain. Then i take this tablet:- SAP-A(Aceclofenac and Paracetamol tablet). After taking this tablet the pain reduces. This tablet was prescribed by a neurologist once when i met him due to this pain. Hi, It just seems that you might have difficulty in convergence , because you have pain while reading in a moving vehicle and have no other complaint. I would advice you to get vision checked from a reliable centre by an opthalmologist and not by an optometrist , if you were previously prescribed a glass then you should wear them regularly. Hi. My four year old son has had a high temperature (up to 39.9) since yesterday afternoon. I have been treating him with paracetamol and ibuprofen (alternately) in order to bring him temp down. He has been fine in himself. He has a red inflamed throat but not complaining of pain. He also has now developed a rash (very small red raised spots on his torso (front and back). He does not seem bothered by it. I feel he is okay, obviously some virus or other, but due to the rash I am asking now if you think he should see a doctor. He is singing away in the bath right now.
