Respected sir, My daughter is about 11month. She has loose motion from afternoon to evening (total 5) And i have a medicine name biofast oz (ofloxacin 50 & ornidazole 125). After inquiry in medical store I given 3.5ml to my child in evening. Is this correct medicine for loose motion? If yes how much time i give it?

Ofloxacin should never be given to children, especially infants. Your child should be rehydrated with ORS ( oral rehydration solution) if she passes stools a lot, as she will be loosing electrolytes like sodium and potassium, water and glucose from the body. This can be corrected by giving ORS. Also u can give Nutrolin B suspension 3 ml twice daily. ...

Hi. I'm nikkz. 2 months ago I suffered from diarrhea and dehydration and nausea so we decided to go to the hospital just to check then they found out that I had an amoeba then I was confined for 3days with metronidazole 500mg. 3x a day and omeprazole because I'm acidic. Then after I was discharged, i feel like im not yet okey because I experienced fatigueness, nausea, chills and so on. After 3 days I went to another clinic near our house then the dr said the amoeba gave an ulcer/wound so He gave me antacid, dicycloverine, omeprazole, rhanitidine, ofloxacin for anti bacterial, metronidazole syrup only for kids then i was injected flacil, buscopan and antibiotic every 2 weeks i guess??? The doctor said the amoeba or bacteria gave me an ulcer/wound. Peptic ulcer. So i need to drink those Medicines he gave me because maybe of ulcerative colitis??Then after weeks still i feel like im bloated, nausea, and my stool is not hard, then i heard my stomach they are so loud. Then when I poop i experience flatulence then I was advised to drink yakult. For one day, I drink almost 10bottles of yakult. Then after a week I experienced diarrhea again watery stool. 3-4-5x a day. I feel like im dehydrated again so i decided to look for another doctor so he checked my stool then there's no parasite but theres puss cells 1-2 and red blood cells 2-4 then he said i have a bacteria. I drank or ate dirty. So he prescribed me to drink bacterim 800/60mg. 2x a day. Its my first day to drink bacterim but watery stool and this morning. I already pooped 2x watery. What will I do? I experiencing nausea and a little bit nervous.

Bactrim is a probiotic, will need couple of days to act. Once you recover, please see your physician again if you continue same symptoms, and Ultrasonography of abdomen and colonoscopy might help ...
