My 3 years old daughter has cough and cold for 2 days and fever since morning . She has nasal discharge and seems to breath by mouth. Otherwise she is playful and active. Please advise.

Hi there I have been to the doctors on Xmas eve and he said I have sinusitis as all my nasal passage was blocked I had a lot of pressure and tooth ache and head ache , he told me to take ibuprofen and sudafed and steam inhalation to which I did , that night went to bed and woke with terrible ear ache in my right ear after 4 hours it started cracking and eventually released fluid which then released the pain of ear ache , Christmas Day night it started in my left ear but this time the pain was so bad that nothing touched it and I was almost delirious ! Eventually it to cracked and popped and released fluid ! Before I found out I had a infected tooth I was treated with 2 different antibiotics for what was thought to be a sinus infection. This has all been within the last 3 months. My right side primarily I have pretty much constant nasal blockage. I also have mucus between my chest and my nose....lots of dripping down the back of throat, coughing it up and constant nose blowing. However I believe that there is just some stubborn mucus that doesnt smell good that I am having a hard time getting out. What can I do about this, the only relief I get is if I use nose spray, but I dont want to use that all the time. I need nasal relief.

I think you have more of sinus related problem, you need to do steam inhalation and consult your ENT specialist for mucolytic agent. ...

Hi, I stared the HCG diet 10 days ago using the drops. I also am trying to have a baby so I had sex three times during the week of ovulation. Last period was on January 8. I have had pregnancy symptoms, five positive pregnancy tests, no period. I did have some spotting but it was brown which makes me think that I am pregnant. I am not sure if it is the HCG drops causing a false positive test. Last night I put some of the drops on a pregnancy test and it was a faint positive. My dr. recommended a blood test and then another 48 hours later. I have poor insurance coverage as I am a business owner, and I don't want to spend the money on the blood tests this early. GERD. It has been on and off since 2008. The condition worsened last month in Jan 2013 and I could hardly swallow any solid food. It just gets stuck in the throat and feel like I am choking till I push the food down with water. Liquids and semi solid foods are ok. The doctors did Nasal Endoscopy, Normal Gastro Endoscopy, Esopheagal Manometry, Barium Swallow X-Ray and all tests came up normal. I was told the swallowing problem is primarily related to GERD and I was advised Cintapro 1 mg tablet for 1 month. So far as I take the tablet, I am able to take in selected solid foods fine, but not all foods. If I do not take this tablet for one day, the problem recurrs back. Question 1: How long will this motility disorder be related to GERD ?
