Hi im 26 y/o me and my bf trying to get pregnant, i have pcos diagnosed last january 2015 i already tried taking althea pill for 3 months, my periods are back to normal and i undergo transvaginal ultrasound and both of my ovaries is normal, and then i went back to my ob last November my pcos is active again, my ob suggest to take clomifene citrate, is this effective and how would i know if im ovulating?im really determine and eager to be pregnant!

Hi there. Clomifene citrate is really the first line of treatment in inducing ovulation. To be able to determine if the clomiphene citrate caused ouvulation, an ultrasound can be requested on about day 10, 12 14 of menstruation to check if there is a dominant follicle.
