About a year ago I had a serious dental problem. I had an apicectomy performed and the surgeon left a lot of leftover amalgam inside my jaw. To cut a long story short my body rejected the amalgam and it started to come out of my jaw in pieces. Before the dentist realised what the problem was he prescribed about 4 courses of antibiotics and this led to a very severe balanitis after the 4th course. It got treated succesfully with cream and fluconazol(150mg). Now It seems to return in a very mild form lasting a couple of days after I treat with cream every couple of months or so. Do I need to visit the doctor again or should I wait until it stops naturally? I had surgery to remove the amalgam from the jaw when they realised that that was causing the inflammation. My jaw is recovering very well.

I think post surgery, Your dentist must have taken the X-Ray to confirm complete removal of amalgum. Balantitis most likely is coincidental need to consult dermatologist for same. ...

In the last 2 months, I have had 3 root canals, 2 abcess teeth,(the same one abcessed twice, the second time it was extracted) and 3 temporary crowns put on. Now, after all that, I have another molar that has a filling it from a long time ago, starting to act up...shooting pains like the nerve is agitated. What on earth could be causing so many of these issues all in such a short period of time? I brush 3 or more times daily. I'd heard that if my hemoglobin, b12 or iron was low that that may be the cause. I'm tired of being in pain all the time...any ideas would greatly be appreciated!!!

Hi Puneet, Every time i eat something i have this inflammatory sensation in my throat that's kind of very uncomfortable. I cannot eat spicy food at all these days. Every time i eat junk food like burgers or Pizza or KFC, i end up having problem with my stomach (stomach upset mostly). This problem started since 2010 when i was doing night shifts for my company. There was a time when i did graveyard shift for 3 consecutive weeks. I stopped doing night shifts after i had problems with my stomach. I have a very tough time in finding food of my taste here. I generally prefer salads and bland food. Fruits rich in alkaline level tend to help me a lot. I'm not married yet, so its very difficult for me to find such food everywhere especially at my workplace. I consume alcohol every weekend but next day morning i end up having acidity. So i have to take ENO (fruit salt) to feel better. This has been the case since 3 years now. The only food which suits me is Bland food and fruits (especially the ones rich in alkaline level). I would really appreciate your help with this. Thanks!

Hi, You can have acinil-o along with pantoprazole but pantop will have better effects than acinil-o. Then in 7th point I told about alcohol and not water. i did NOT feel completely cleaned out even after taking all that laxative stuff for the test. It still felt like something stuck in my rectum. My husband is 6'2" is 64 years old and weighs 275 his LDL was 69 out of 0 to 129 and on HDL Cholesterol was 42 out of 35 to 80 (both are MG/DL) is he ensurable or are they going to be reluctant because everything turned out normal but his cholestrol was 126L out of 140-199 so it showed abnormal. It's probably due to his weight right?

Hey I went to the doctors on Monday there and they put me on antibiotics trimethoprim I was fine first few days but I have started to feel out of breath when walking. Short period of time itchy head . My heads full off blisters and it's really painful my head and ears are the most itchy parts but I am itchy all over am constantly drinking liquids and feel completely drained and also have a sore throat can you please help me am worried and am not sure if a should continue taking my antibiotics ..

Hello Dr, I a am 30 years old male. I got married 9 months back. I used to snore while sleeping. Unfortunately, my wife is complaining me daily that I am either pricking her with my leg/hand or snore in her ears. Main point here is that she says I am awake during that time and she is complaining that I am doing it intentionally to disturb her sleep. There is no specific time for the same. It happens any time in the night or early morning. Actually, I am not aware of those activities.
