Sir i am suffering from knee sweeling in my rt knee for 6 month,two times i hv removed water(aspiration) from it bt never found relief.some time it decrease and some time increase.all tests x rays,crp,esr are normal not yet i found any relief.4 years ago same problem were in my lft knee and dr. Removed 2 pieces(tissue) from lft knee which were found normal(non specific),till one month after surgery i couldn't bent knee even a little bit,i took physiotherapy by wax and till 9 months i could bent it onle 80% after 1.5 or 2 year i could bent it properly 100 bt with pain,still there is pain when i bent it proper,and also swelling in rt knee.Dr.'s Of hospital in which i get surgery 4 yrs ago said that same surgery will pass in rt knee,bt i am afraid because still there is pain in my lft knee,if i pass again surgery in rt knee i will face same problem of pain in my rt knee,please advice me sir if there another way to get treated without surgery like med. Or i should get treated by surgery,i am just 23 yr old boy,still there is whole life for me to live please help me.

Doctor my mother aged 63yrs have DVT. When scanned the report says following; 1- grey scale imaging shows enlarge diameter of Common Femoral Vein (CFV) & Superficial Fomoral Vein (SFV). 2- Color Doppler reveals non-fillilng of external lilac vein on the left side. Partial filling of colour is seen in the left CFV & SFV. The Popliteal vein does not show any colour filling. The Peroneal and Posterior Tibial veins are filling with the colour. Anterior tibial vein could not be identified on colour Doppler. 3- Doppler imaging shows mid respiratory plasticity in CFV. There is very poor Response to distal augmentation in the CFV. 4- Great Saphenous vein is Patent. IMPRESSION- Deep vein thrombosis in lower limb involving External lliac vein, CFV,SFV & Popliteal vein, and possibly Anterior Tibial Veins. There is partial recanalisation of CFV & SFV. Posterior Tibial and Peroneal veins are patent. Suggested clinical correlation. Scan copy added to the medical record in the profole. that the above is the report of the radiologist now what medicine you prescribe ,how to take and when to review the report? .whether the same will be cure or the patient should be in medicine for life long,what are the immediate risk?

I am suffering from varicocele since 4 years.It aggravated initially in my opinion due to weight lifting.After taking medicines it never went away and i had a surgery after 2 years.the pain was not entirely gone but started aggravating in 2 months post surgery.Since then i have tried homeopathy and i have tried changing my food habits by reducing my non veg drastically but of no avail.I am really sick of this pain.It aggravates after i exercise, after urination and bowel movements, and it pains in the morning after i get up.I want some ayurveda treatment for this condition.

Hi, I think you should get it checked with a surgeon if the surgery was successful and if you have not developed any complication or may be some other problem may be in the same or other testis then there should be no pain due the same varicocele. Otherwise also varicocele is an emergency and should be consulted immediately and you should not waste time to consult a general surgeon. Kindly specify the duration of pregnancy for which you took the unwanted kit.Usually heavy bleeding occurs after taking unwanted kit which then subsides on its own.But if the heavy bleeding is persisting then maybe because of incomplete abortion.Kindly get an ultrasound of the pelvis done to rule out any such condition. Hi, I am not sure,your doctor must have examined you so he can might be telling better,but i belive you should have complet liver tests including pt aptt and coagulation profile and billirubin levels and also repeat the tests you already have. Although yellow eyes can also be due to mddy sclera,some people have muddy sclera. Your tsh is also raised so he might be telling you for some test or may be you could be directly be put on medicines for this. Time taken is different for diffirent person ...

Sir, I had protected sex with a women / sex worker around 37 days back. She was having periods at that time, which I was not aware about. While removing the condom, a drop of blood came on my finger (My condom was not torn or damaged). After around 20 days, I developed a small genital wart on my pence. I immediately went to a dermatologist / STD specialist and told him the entire episode correctly. He told me that it was an HPV virus and the immune system of the body will eventually clear it with passage of time. For the wart I was advised to apply a topical cram "Imiquimod" every alternate day. I was also asked to get a VDRL test. My VDRL test came "Non Reactive" after 21 days of the exposure. However as I was extremely worried about the entire edisode, I decided to get the HIV test done today i.e. after 37 days of exposure. So I got an HIV 1/2 & P24 Combo Test done from . My report has come out to be "Index Value = 0.12" "Result= Non Reactive". My question is, in your opinion how reliable is this report?

Yes that's right - the antibodies can take up to 3 months, sometimes longer, to appear but the p24 antigen assay becomes positive much sooner after exposure. Still no test is fool proof and you should get retested in 8 weeks time - just the HIV 1/2 antibodies will be enough. This is just a precaution to be doubly sure - as it stands you are HIV negative based on your test results. And yes that is a standard laboratory. Regards. ...
