GERD. It has been on and off since 2008. The condition worsened last month in Jan 2013 and I could hardly swallow any solid food. It just gets stuck in the throat and feel like I am choking till I push the food down with water. Liquids and semi solid foods are ok. The doctors did Nasal Endoscopy, Normal Gastro Endoscopy, Esopheagal Manometry, Barium Swallow X-Ray and all tests came up normal. I was told the swallowing problem is primarily related to GERD and I was advised Cintapro 1 mg tablet for 1 month. So far as I take the tablet, I am able to take in selected solid foods fine, but not all foods. If I do not take this tablet for one day, the problem recurrs back. Question 1: How long will this motility disorder be related to GERD ? Question 2: Are there any side effects of taking this Cintapro 1 mg to help in motility on a long term basis (Say if I need to take this for some more time) Questionj 3: Are there any other tests that will show the proper reason for this motility disorder of the esophaegus (Apart from Esopheagal Manometry, Gastro Endoscopy, Barium Swallow X-Ray) etc.

I have been taking Oxirute CD tablets one in the morning and one in the evening daily for almost 20 days. Can this tablet be taken for a very long time. Does it have any side effects. The drug should not be taken for than 2 weeks or may be you have already taken it for 20 days so now you should stop taking it any further. Dear doctors, I am a research scholar and working on signal transduction studies and regularly use several irritants and ion channel blockers. I am suffering from excess keratosis on palms and soles and some times deep painful fissures from almost two years. It was started as a small thickening patch an left arm and recovered after treatment with moisturizing creams. After that I went to Japan as part of my research programme and one nurse given me creams with anti-fungal compounds and urea but the problem was enhanced and started the deep fisures on my soles. I am 27 years old unmarried. Three years ago I was diagnosed with cysts in my ovaries and surgery (Laporatomy) was done. I have lost my right ovary with it (oopherectomy) and cyst was removed from left ovary (cystectomy). Sir, I am 23 yrs aged man. From my childhood onward i have a doubt that is there is any psychiatric problems for me. And now i don't have that thinking. But in sometimes i am getting angry for small matters. It comes suddenly and also down suddenly. At the time my hands are shivering. Also i cannot concentrate on a specific thing or work. It effect my job. I am a chain smoker before 1 year. But now I controlled it . Now I am using 2 cigarettes in a day. Is there any effects on child if thyronorm 75 mcg is being taken by a breast feeding women? My hands shake when i do some activities like when i take a tea cup my hands shake. When i'm drinking it slowly my hands shake. I feel very shy and afraid infront of everyone. Hi, I am a 22 years old vegetarian male. I have been diagnosed with osteopenia with a T-score of -1.0 on spine and -1.5 on femur. Following this I got my vitamin D checked (25-hydroxy test) and it came out to be 8ng/mL. I think that the low bone density is due to the lack of calcium caused by vitamin D deficiency. I got a throid profile performed and all results came normal. I am thinking of getting a calcium serum check to find out the calcium levels. I have also started taking vitamin D 10000-15000IU per day. Do you think I should get any further checks done? I also seem to have gluten allergy /celiac disease (eating wheat seemed to cause some digestive problems that went away when I stopped taking wheat) and have stopped eating wheat. Do you think I should get any further checks done? I am thinking of checking for mineral deficiency in my body.
